THE WORST MOVERS EVER! They should get –5 stars. A scam! The initial contact with the office was professional. I asked for them to send a 16ft moving truck, the movers arrived with a 12 ft moving truck that smoked. They could fit all of my things in and had to leave them in my storage area. But a portion of what they did load on the truck never made it to my new place. A few pieces of furniture as well as my jewelry armoire never made it to my new place, although I saw them loaded on the truck. They tried to charge me extras and wanted me to pay for an additional day to finish the move.
Honestly, next time I’ll pay the additional money to get a reputable moving company, or get day laborers. This guy’s were awful because they stole my things and even asked for extra money in their tip! SMH

**UPDATE** since we couldn’t make it to the new building by 8PM, we were not allowed to move our stuff in. Moving company will store our stuff for the night at no cost (geez, thanks) But they plan on charging me for their time tomorrow. Good luck with that!!!

I don’t usually do this, but I have never received such a bad service, so here it goes: on May 25^th, I requested and paid for moving services for June 1^st (Today), with a Company named Moving and Storage Services. They were scheduled to start pick up at 10AM on moving day. They called the day of and said there was a delay and would be here BY noon. (PS: Per building administration, I could use the building cargo elevators only for a few hours, in this case until 3PM). At noon, they called to say they were once again delayed and would be arriving between 3 – 3:30PM. (Note: I have only received information from the actual moving crew. No word from administration, even after I made MANY MANY attempts to reach them). 4PM: movers call again. Surprise, they were delayed (did I mention they were in Ft Lauderdale? I’m in Dade). At this point, they said they’d arrive BY 5PM. They also asked if I still needed them to come. NO SHIT?! YES, I NEED YOU TO COME AND MOVE MY STUFF… And still no word from administration. The movers finally arrived at 6:45PM. (That’s almost 9 hours later than scheduled) They, then, proceeded to inform me that there might be additional charges for any extra hours or materials used. I forgot to say, this company announces itself on Groupon only to get free publicity — When you call about the offer, they ask you pay them directly and they will honor Groupon’s offer. Needless to say I will never use or refer this company to anyone, and I will be requesting a full refund! Worst Service Ever!!!

I bought a living social coupon from this company and it was a huge mistake. The coupon allowed me three men and three hours of work with one hour travel time. However, the day of my move they showed up two hours early, without one of the men and charged me a hidden fee for using stairs when they had access to an elevator. Additionally, once they realized that being one man down it would take them an extra hour of service, they felt it was necessary to charge me an extra hour due to their lack of staff and their failure to comply by the living social contract. The worst was that they stole my jewelry box I already had in my apartment along with my Versace sunglasses.
Once I called to complain and request a return of my items, they never returned my call and ignored my calls thereafter. Complete scam! Never use this company. Worthless and crooks! They don’t even deserve one star.

Absolute trash. I got the $ 240 deal and paid over the phone. The guy Scott was super nice and I trusted him; I was super excited that I was getting such a good deal. Not even 24 hours later, on top of the $ 240 being gone a charge for $ 250 at jcp in pompano appeared. Since it was through groupon I figured they were a legitimate company but clearly not. I have to blast groupon next. Don’t use them! They’re just hackers and scammers.

I can’t even give them a star, but had to to post this. AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL!!! DO NOT HIRE!!!
I moved two weeks ago and had the worst moving experience! Moving can be stressful already, but this company topped it off with making my move a disaster.
I’ll keep it short and sum it up. I was moving from one building to another about 20 mins away. In both buildings I had to reserve the moving day in advance and only had the service elevator until 6pm. So they were scheduled to arrive between 1 – 3. By 2pm I started calling the company to see where the movers were. The dispatchers said they would contact them and have them call me. So I finally receive a phone call around 3:30 the movers told me they would be at my apartment at 4 they were close. By 5pm they were still not there. And getting in contact with someone or locating them was a mess. By 5:30 I was calling the company asking for someone in charge. There wasn’t anyone that could get on the phone and once again the dispatcher said the only thing he could do was page them and have them call me.
So all day I’m on the phone calling my other building seeing if I could even move in and my building was so upset with me because no one can move past 6.
They called once again said they would be there in 15 mins and if I still wanted them to come. I said are you serious??? His response was «Listen you don’t know what we deal with!» Okay. They finally show up a little before 6. The front desk manager called me from the building I was moving into and told me to cancel them… they just moved someone into the same building and left they“re boxes and furniture all over outside and would’nt bring them in or move anything for them because those ppl were not happy with them so the movers just left they’re stuff on the street.
Well I couldn’t cancel it was the only day I could move.
They get to my place one was beyond rude, they were lazy!!! One of the guys was nice and not too lazy. I won’t bring all of them down.
So my new building extended my move in time until 8 and not a min after. So I had one hour to break down a bed move furniture and boxes and get them into my new place. Well! I payed a moving company for me to move myself and not take all my stuff because of how late they were and I was moving half my stuff on the truck myself because they were soooo slow. I was loading the truck myself and running while these guys are taking they“re time barely moving. I carried my bed head board queen size and big past one of them and they just walked by me and looked at me. One of them walked by my mattress sitting against the wall and kicked it and I said why are you kicking my furniture and he said because I’m mad. So you KICK my property!!! They were banging they’re trolly on my tiles everytime they would bring it in. ZERO REGARD FOR FURNITURE!!!
So we get to my new place around 745 and the guys they had just moved in before me were still outside with all they’re stuff and a cop. So now the movers and these guys and cop all start arguing which cuts into my hours!!! I still can“t believe this. These guys are a joke.
My sofa wouldn’t fit in the elevator so the kid Steve says we can try the stairs but it will cost you 150… hahaha what $ 150 for stairs isn’t this a moving company??? He said I already charged you $ 75 in your other building. What??? why??? I took you to the service elevator he says to me «the elevator was to far from your apartment and i didn’t feel like walking back and forth, plus you needed to expedite the move» I said what and he goes mam dont argue with me. Such a joke!!! I would like to know what I’m getting charged for. anyways I said of course thats what you need to do. So my sofa didn’t fit a very expenisve sofa. He looks at me with his non caring rudeness and says to me so it will be 150 to throw it away. Great I have to make a decision at 11pm at night to throw away an expensive sofa. Maybe if they came the time they were suppose to I couldve put in storage or called someone to get it so I could sell it and get my money back. Nope! I had to throw away money again this day just like I wasted my money on the AWFUL company.
I’ve been calling this company for 2 weeks asking to speak to a manager and no one will get back to me. I might call the better business bureau and file a claim because they need to not be in business!

I call to book moving, they took my info, and schedule the date. on the next day before the 24 hours cancellation policy, I called again to cancel, they charged me a booking fee for all jobs of $ 50.00 «which is not mentioned on the contract», and they took more than 3 weeks to refund the money on my account. It says on the contract that you can cancel in 24 hours but does not say anything about a booking fee for all jobs. if you still want to use this company be aware of this…

Absolutely horrendous experience!!! I will be reporting them to BBB. In short, they failed to provide proper insurance certificate, even though, I emailed them my buildings insurance requirements the day before and they assured that there wouldn’t be a problem. 2 hours before the move, my building’s management company advised that the proper insurance certificate was not provided and we would not be allowed to move. After back and forth with the company for about 3 hours, while they kept promising that the right certificate would be sent and the moving truck was on the way, we told them that we would have to cancel as we wouldn’t be allowed to move without proper ins. Certificate. Well, they never produced it, stopped answering our calls and we had to send the truck back. Needless to say it was hell of a day trying to find another moving truck and having to move in 3 hours. It was an absolute nightmare. I’m a woman and had to haul heavy boxes myself in order to get it done before they shut down the moving elevator. When I tried to get my money back, I got no response. After threatening to report them to BBB, an asshole of a manager replied to me, kind of admitting their fault but also giving me an attitude about not being patient and threatening them. Even though he promised to investigate and get back to me, he never did. When requested that my credit card company reversed the charge, they claimed that i cancelled the service and provided no reason. I cannot believe that this company is for real! What I can believe is all these 1 star reviews. Don’t even think about giving them business, this company is a rip-​off!!!

Through the Groupon site I found a moving services offer for $ 240 which included 3 hours of moving time, 3 men and 1 van. Any extra time was valued at $ 125/​hour not including the materials such as boxes, tape etc. I packed my entire house with the exception of the furniture: 1 king size bed, 2 Flat screen TVs and a mattress.
The day of the move, they arrived late and started complaining about the distance to walk inside the condo to their truck. As they started bringing things down to the moving truck, their pace became slower and slower until they finished moving my already packed 2 bedroom apartment in 5 hours.
The men were unprofessional mostly in complaining throughout the entire process and asking for drinks such as sodas. By the end, a certain Teddy gave us the bill for the work done and it amounted to $ 2,215.57. As I mentioned above, the groupon was for $ 240 + 2 extra hours at $ 125…They were unable to justify how they got to their amount of $ 2,215.57
It was Friday afternoon by now and we were supposed to have everything moved to the apartment building by now… But no, 5 hours later, they would only accept cash or credit cards for the payment, and since my card was supposedly not going through, they stopped working until I went to the bank to get cash! They only resumed working once I cam back with the cash in hand…
By the time they got to the other condo to move by things back in, the building did not accept them because they were too late… Being that it was on a Friday afternoon, I ended up without furniture, clothes, bed throughout the weekend and they took full advantage of the situation to tell us they were putting our belongings in storage for the weekend.
The next Monday morning, they arrive 1 hour late and the 1^st thing they request is a payment of $ 1,181 more for the extra hours and storage fees!!! I has no alternative put to give him my debit card if I wanted to see my furniture again, and at this point he refused to give me a receipt for everything that I have paid.
You would thing we went through enough… but no, once we finally got out things back, they had broken pieces of art, scratched furniture… it was a complete nightmare.
This company is a total scam — Groupon should not be associated with them and we will pursue them in the legal system and put in a review with the better business bureau. I urge you to do the same for those of you have suffered through this terrible ordeal. They need to be stopped.

I hired this company October 30^th to move me November 15^th. They were supposed to come between 9−10am calling 30 min prior to arrival. Well they never called and never showed up. I called the answering service 6 times and got know where. I now am scrambling to find a uhaul. If you are a complete moron and want a good dry anal screwing then this is the place to hire. If I had the option to put minus 5 stars and a slap in their face I would do so.

This company is a scam! they were not on time, then when they got to my house they wanted to charge me $ 20 for placing the mattress covers on (I had the mattress covers which cost me $ 10). I was by myself and I did not felt save with these men they were slow and rude threw my stuff on the ground and kept adding charges after charges that were never clearly explained to me when I did the reservation.
when we got to the unloading location the guy was more worried about finding a place where to plug his Ipod to listen to music than to do the job right! I have never experienced such a bad service, please stay away you are better off getting a uhaul and hiring labor on the side than to use rude and disrespectful people.
I was beyond disappointed! worst service ever!

These guys are clear rip off artists. They lie, cheat and are reckless with your belongings.
Forget the coupons they advertise, they tried to rip me of for 583.00 when they were already paid in full. They threatened to take my belongings. I called the Police and they dumped my belongings out at the loading dock. I am disputing all money paid to them.
Stay away, I don’t know where or who Shmuel, the apparent principals but id like to meet him in the boxing gym.

This is the first time I write a review. The worst service I’ve ever received (wish I would’ve read Unilocal reviews first but I trusted a friend who turns out knew nothing about them just found a groupon) anyhow long story short they will try & take advantage of you at every single corner. i spent 2 hours fighting with them & ended up paying $ 300 for them to move 4 items 5 miles. they are pretty much scam artists & I would never ever ever use them again. i only gave 1 star because I had to.

After finding their company via Groupon deal, my overall satisfaction has been a hit or miss– had a difficult time choosing between 2 or 3 stars for the business.
Prior to the movers pickup, the company makes it simple for you to request a quote via their website. Once requested, the manager of the region contacts you directly to assist with setting up an invoice. He’s super helpful, understanding, and patient to make sure all you need for your move is setup.
Once everything is ready for move day, next step is when the movers arrive. This is where things start to be «almost poor» in their quality of work. Not to describe everything in too much detail since I’ll be writing forever but to sum it up: inappropriate language after becoming impatient with me not understanding the extra charge/​final billing payment, finding move scratches at old apartment without them mentioning anything about it, and lastly a couple members working without shirts (I understand it was really hot and I could provide with what I could of water but I believe this would fall under a health concern?)
All in all, it was much appreciated with what was done to help me move. Customer service on the phone side of prepping everything was friendly and great but improvement REALLY needs to be done on the side of the movers. Even though the plus was they were able to finish the move quick, it would be much more welcoming if they spoke and acted with their customers in a more respectful manner.

please share, we as customers must share this kind of information and spread the voice about this kind of companies that should not even been in the market. if someone knows were should i report this to a local authority, please share it, for sure i will.
past friday may 29^th we were supposed to start the moving at 12:30. this people arrived at 4:20 almost 4:30 pm — 4 hours late! the truck the sent was a 15′ u-​haul truck!!!, my stuff didn’t fit in the truck, they are supposed to evaluate the inventory attached to the contract and send their own trucks, they don’t have trucks, they rent at u-​haul! they are all about lying to customers.
this people left some of my stuff out of the truck, on the street, since it didn’t fit in the truck and they told me i would have to pay them to pick it up and bring it back to my place. so guess what, i had to carry everything myself, my husband and my brother back into the apartment. plus i will have to pay them again or to another company to move the rest of my stuff to my new place and your movers left my things outside of the building on the street!
i not only have had issues with the building, because we started too late the moving, i had to pay extra security deposit at my building and i had to pay an extra hour for the security guard too. this people should pay for this too!
i will do the reviews i need to do about that company and the inefficiency they have demonstrated.
also i know delma and her team have told the movers to lie to me about when they were going to arrive to my place, that is absolutely dishonest. they knew from the beginning they would be 4 hours late and they were lying to me by phone, telling me they would be there soon! and those were instrtuctions they were following from their managers! what kind of company is it?
summary: they were late 4 hours, they sent me a tiny truck (uhaul — when they are supposed to have their own huge trucks! another lie!) knowing that there is an inventory attached to the contract that they were supposed to evaluate and send me something at least effective in terms of space. the movers left my stuff on the street and they didn’t want to put it back inside the apartment, otherwise i’d have to pay them to do it… we had to do it ourselves.
also, know that the moving was not only for their three movers, i had to call friends and family to help them to carry the stuff, because the lack of time, i had to do the moving on half an hour!
this people did half of the moving. i did the other half!
i hope these are enough reasons for this dishonest company to consider refunding my money. not part of it, but all of it!
and as if this was not enough they are refusing to give me the manager’s information!

If no stars was an option, they’d get no stars. Absolute thieves. I purchased the Amazon Local deal (though directly through the company as I had questions before booking) to get four hours of moving with three movers for $ 240. After speaking with someone from the sales department and doing a thorough (if not overly so) inventory of my apartment, I was told I’d have to pay an extra $ 75 for stairs, which I begrudgingly agreed to, and was given «helpful advice» to move my own glass over and buy lots of tape as to avoid any additional charges. I paid over the phone and $ 315 later, thought this was taken care of.
The day of the move itself, the supervisor (who I won’t mention by name) showed up to our home and immediately began poking around and noting things down. Never a good sign. We’re making friendly small talk when all of a sudden, he calls me into another room to show me what he’s written. He starts telling me that I’m going to have to pay an extra $ 20 per mattress/​boxspring and that they were supposed to be wrapped in bags (something I was never told.) I disputed this but he insisted on continuing. He proceeded to tell me that I would be charged an ADDITIONAL $ 75 for stairs at the new apartment because they «didn’t know there were stairs at the destination as well.» When I told him that I explicitly described the situation to the salesman, his line was, and I quote, «Yeah, well, if we were honest on the phone, nobody would ever book.» So there you have it — if you were considering booking with this company at all, I hope that line alone is enough to deter you. This same supervisor also tried to use the fact that I moved my glass the night before against me, saying «well, you knew about the glass, you must’ve known about the mattresses.» Yeah, those things definitely correlate. Oh, and all the tape I bought to avoid an expense? Not used once.
After debating feverishly (it’s tough to not get upset when someone is so blatantly taking advantage of you), the supervisor was ready to leave with the job not even started before he went in another room to make a call. Upon returning, he let me know that he’d «much rather just work for tips» and wrote $ 100 on the sheet and pointed to it without saying a word. Yeah, it’s as sleazy as it sounds. «You give me this, and take care of the guys, and no balance.» Oh, great. So a mandatory tip of $ 100 for just you, plus the $ 40 we were going to give to each guy anyway, and we’re square? $ 180 over what I already paid and the nerve to act like he was doing me a favor.
I swallowed it and just wanted to get it done. So I went and got the cash and we proceeded. We arrived at the new apartment and he had me sign a ton of documents when we walked in before anything was unloaded. Wow, I wish I hadn’t. You’re signing a document saying that everything arrived in perfect condition before you have a chance to see it. And boy was it ever not in perfect condition. My dresser arrived with a huge chip in it and my nightstand top surface is completely ruined and gouged. When I showed that to the supervisor, the response I got was «oh.sorry, man.» Great. «Oh…sorry, man» will definitely repair my furniture.
To make a long story short, don’t use these guys. Really. Don’t. Don’t be lured in by the false promise of lower prices than the competition. Our $ 240 move turned into $ 495 by the end of the day. And that’s just asinine.

These movers were Horrible! I purchased the Groupon and as soon as they got there I was told I would have to pay an additional $ 150 for supplies. I said absolutely NOT. I asked them not to do anything that would cost extra (they ending up leaving ALOT at the storage unit) I was informed that they would not move the mattresses or box springs if not covered. I asked how much they would charge to cover them they said $ 30 a piece ($ 120 for two beds) again I said no and went out and purchased $ 10 mattress covers from the storage company. When the truck arrived to the new home the gentleman brought out the contract to sign before unloading the truck. He said there was going to be a $ 160 balance. I asked why, thats when he explained we had gone over the 3 hr time. I had my cell phone with his number showing that the time he wrote on the contract was impossible. He said it was an «honest» mistake. Then he said the balance would be only $ 70. Again I asked why. Turns out he was charging me $ 10 for placing the mattress cover I had purchased on the mattress (PER MATTRESS/​BOXSPRING) he also stated the roll of tape I bought for them was not enough and they were charging me for 4 additional rolls. (I highly doubt that my items in storage that were already packed required 5 rolls of tape) I had to call the company because he refused to unload my items until I signed. The company said the driver was already being nice and waiving a $ 150 fee that they charge for the truck being 150 ft from the door. When I asked who measured the 150 ft the receptionist did not have a response. So after ALOT of back and forth the office waived the fees. The movers unloaded the truck and then… are you ready… Explained to me that they accepted tips!
I gave them each a water bottle.
I will NEVER use this company again. And if anyone I know is in need of moving services I will do my best to steer them clear of this company and there HORRIBLE practices.

Same as the other 1 star reviews. And kudos to the reviewer who knew ahead of time to professionally wrap all of their items (whether they need it or not). I had no items to be boxed (other than items in a chest, more on that in a moment). I had only furniture pieces that I didn’t want to have to lift and a wall unit that I’ve disassembled and moved 4 times by myself and wanted to have done for me this time.
I did the $ 240 Groupon and went through a lengthy process with the person on the phone telling him everything that needed to be moved. I specifically mentioned two items that would be tricky. One was the wall unit I mentioned above. The other was a couch that was a little wide for the door and needed to be wrapped to fit through.
He said the wrapping would be no problem and they would take care of everything, not to worry. Boy was he right about them taking care of it all.
They wrapped everything (even items I said really didn’t need to be wrapped). And boxed items in a chest (which I’ve moved with another person before, the contents were a couple of books and board games, some rock band stuff… but they chose to fill 6 boxes with every item in them… even though the chest was easily lifted with the contents in it.
When they were close to being done I left them alone and went to the move in location. They took a LONG time finishing and getting over (and really bungled putting my door back on the hinges which they removed to help with the couches.)
Upon arrival they said they were short on time and it might push me over another hour, which would be an extra $ 140. This was after they charged me $ 255 for the wrapping and boxes, and after I had foolishly given them a $ 100 tip (I had planned on $ 75 but an extra guy showed up… realized he was the driver… not a mover… after I tipped).
So all said and done, $ 600 to move an 815 square foot 1 bedroom apartment. Seems excessive to me. I figured I’ve done this move several times with just myself and a friend for the cost of a truck and lunch and beers and that I’d pay to have others do it. Never dreamed it would cost 3 times as much.
I guess if you have the money, use them. But with all the excessive wrapping, they still burst through the backing on one of my bookshelves, which is now unusable, and didn’t really put the door back on right, and scuffed the doors on my old place and new place. So, you decide if that’s worth $ 600.

No star. Service is really bad, I can’t believe the company still exist. The person answers the phone is terrible. I reported them to business bureau, I hope they will do something with this company. People pls don’t use this company. I’m warning you!

I did purchase the coupon on Group on for my move so it helped me save some money. I have a house full of large furniture and lots of stuff. The crew that was sent was great! Since I have moved several times before — and always used a movie company — I knew what to expect. The crew was professional, the foreman walked thru each room with me to discuss what needed special packing and to assess the order to load the truck. The entire team had a great attitude, they were friendly and helpful. The were careful with my belongings and the unpacking of the truck at the new house was orchestrated perfectly. It was the best moving experience I ever had.
