Really had a good time. It was convenient because they were stationed in back of hotels. So all I had to do was walk to our hotels beach and get on a jet ski…

I have been to Miami beach before and for anyone else that’s familiar, you’ll know that the company «Boucher Brothers» is lined up all along south beach.
(Boucher Brother rates for jet skis: $ 85/​half an hour and $ 170/​hour).
I’ve paid their $ 170 before and wasn’t looking forward to paying it again!
After searching and searching, I found a groupon for Miami Beach Sports for $ 109/​hour on jet skis plus 2 lounge chairs! I saved so much money!
Upon entering their premises they took my bags and shoes and offered to place it in their booth for me while my boyfriend and I went on the jet skis. This was a big plus for me because last time (at Boucher brothers) someone stole my shoes because I wasn’t allowed to hold my belongings in their booth.
Regarding the bad review below me; if you call and it goes to voicemail, don’t hang up and listen to it. They offer a different number to call. I called the second number and someone picked up right away!

I had bought a Groupon before arriving and it honestly was worth every penny! The guys were super cool, informative, and answered any questions we had. My friend and I were so excited to jet ski here in Miami and I’m glad this is where we came. Both of our jetskis slowed down after getting clogged with seaweed but they quickly responded giving me another jet ski and cleaned my friends jet ski out. I couldn’t have been a happier customer ! I definitely will return when I visit Miami again, whether I have a Groupon or not!

I haven’t been here for awhile but I brought a friend who was visiting from NY to rent jetskis about a year ago. There was a simple test prior to taking them out, we used the groupon deal which they honored with no issues, staff was friendly and helpful since my friend and I had no idea what we were doing. One of the guys was so patient and took several photos for us. Overall was a pleasant and fun experience and would definitely go back again !

Got the deal on groupon, wow was it awesome. The service is amazing & super friendly… the staff were so nice I would just kick it with them and have a beer on beautiful SOBE. Rode the jetski for over an hour and had a blast. They have Yamaha jetskis that ride very nice & fit 2 people. I look forward to coming back. Also they match whatever deal is on groupon so if your just at the beach & have cash just ask them. Also you have to get you licesne before you ride so just be patient, but in my opinion its way worth it.

The black guy with dreads behind the booth is rude and racist. Me and some buddies were looking to rent some jet skis and we decided to leave because of him. Fire This guy. He’s hurting your business.

FORGET ALL THOSE NEGATIVE COMMENTS! This spot is awesome! They have a great staff and very resonance prices! I come here every year! I most def recommend coming here especially with all your friends!

I had a fantastic experience with the guys at Miami BeachSports! My boyfriend and I were in town for a few days and we were looking for jetski rentals on the beach (thanks to Unilocal,we found Miami BeachSports) and immediately found the Groupon link from their website.
Upon arrival, it was clear that they take safety seriously and provided us with very clear instructions and expectations, I had some small talks with the guys while my boyfriend studied for the boating safety exam to be done on site, they patiently answered all my questions about the area. Once we got on the jet ski, we thoroughly enjoyed our hour on the waters!
Lastly, being the tourists we are, we asked one of the guys to take some photos for us before we got off and he happily obliged, went above and beyond and snapped a dozen for us!
A+ for great customer service! Will be returning next time I visit Miami for sure!
Tip for anyone staying on South Beach, this location is an affordable cab ride away (or one bus ride away) in a quieter resort area with less crowds and more quality beach time. Take advantage of their chair rentals while you are there!

This was so much fun! It’s even better than horse back riding! The water was warm and the staff is beyond friendly. I went with a group of 4 and the view from the ocean making laps is something you should see once in your life! The staff made us feel super comfortable and even took pictures of us to post on Instagram! It’s hard to find customer service on the beach but these guys are knowledgable and are the perfect examples of good customer service. Ask for Andy, Diego, Melvin or even Manny! They are super helpful and quickly got us set up. The best part is that they didn’t judge us (2 gay couples in super short trunks) and they even asked us to come back. Most times groupons suck but this one was so worth it! Thanks guys for turning a dull Thursday into fun filled day at the beach!

This was our first time jet skiing. Manny, Andy, and Melvin were extremely helpful and friendly. It was quick and easy to get everything. We had an absolutely phenomenal time. We are looking forward to doing it again. They definitely earned four loyal customers today.

At first I was psyched about this. It’s local, easy to find and there’s a groupon for a great deal. I actually got four friends to join me here. After we started jet skiing we realized that one of my friends had a damaged jet ski, so we went back to the dock to get it changed for a different one. We got to the dock thirty minutes into our hour and instead of giving us a new jet ski the owner refused to allow any of us to return to the water saying that my hour was up (it wasn’t) and that my friends had driven to close to each other (he had asked him for help regarding the jet ski and had stayed 50 feet away). When we tried explaining this to him, he got verbally aggressive, started threatening and cursing at us and eventually ended with «gimme your number and I’ll swing by later and kill you». All in all not the sort of friendly place that you want to spend your vacations at.
Groupon refunded my friends money and hopefully will refund mine as well.

We had a groupon for this place… After we did the jetski we used the chairs since it came with the deal. We were not rushed and the guys were pretty nice. Fun. Fun. Fun!!!

We had such a great time today riding jet skis Andy and the rest of the crew were very professional, very nice and accommodating. We will definitely go back again !!!

The guys were great and explained everything we needed to do. Very generous with the times. Signing up was easy and the test you have to take was easy. Used a groupon deal so it was a great deal!

My boyfriend and I got screwed over by this other company and ended up calling Miami Beach Sports. They have a legit hut on the beach and it was simple, quick, and easy to rent jet skis from them. The water was perfect and they have a large area zoned off for jet skis on the ocean. These guys were professional, helpful, and nice. I would definitely recommend this place!

I can assure you I have no agenda. We do not know you and we live in and different state. I can assure you I have more important things to do then to lie on Unilocal.And with your negative response instead of seeing what your customers see only says one thing. Keep arguing and you will only hurt your business. I did not like the way you treated me so i have the right to post the rating i think you deserve. 20 years open and 4 years on Unilocal which means your big but only 10 reviews that claim you’re the best. Who really gave you those reviews?
Stackers. Definition: stacking as many customers as possible to ensure you always have your jet skis rented out.
I called in advance to see what their availability was and no one answered. I received a text message back saying the jet skis we’re open. I arrived approximately twenty minutes after that and their little shack was completely full. I’m pretty sure they were stacking customers.
Edited here: I was posting reviews on a couple of rental places and another company’s review got pasted here. Miami BeachSports prices seem to be as advertised. However we never paid anything because we never got to ride.
Regardless the point I am trying to make is that I was communicating with them and they knew damn well I was on my way. I get there and its hours of wait time. They wasted valuable time. I could have taken my business elsewhere.
Now with that said I would like to add some more of my personal experience with jet skis to this review. I typically would not rent jet skis because I’ve always owned jet skis for the last 15 years. However 2 years ago I sold the last pair I owned. I have been riding jet skis for 15 years so I know what to expect. It had been a couple of years and I just felt like I wanted to go ride for an hour for a little fun. This particular place is located Oceanside and not on the bay such as the other Jet Ski rental places. The reason I am mentioning this is because if you really want to enjoy Jet Ski riding you should stick to the Bayside. There are many reasons for this. One reason is that many people especially people that are renting jet skis and have never owned them before would not know that when you’re riding on the Oceanside it is too choppy and a half of the time the intake pump is not sucking in the water in order to get you up to any speed. You’re basically driving around getting beat to death because this ski is constantly bobbing in and out of the water. Most of the time when you’re riding on the Bayside you can take the ski to its full potential and ride very relaxed and cruise. Some people may say well I want to jump waves well that’s fine but in most cases the Oceanside will just be choppy. On the other hand if the waves are too large most inexperienced riders will not even be able to make it past the break and they probably would not be renting skis that day anyway. The bottom line is if you want to enjoy jet skis and have a nice smooth ride and be able to cut up a little bit then you do better renting from a place on the Bayside. They are pretty large boats that pass through the bay and if you want to jump a wave or a wake then you simply haul ass behind one of these guys and you will fly about 5 or 6 feet out of the water.
The last thing I will add is pay attention to the type of ski that you’re renting. If you are going to pay the same price at all places then choose the one with the newest skis. This place seemed to have outdated skis from what I could see. I noticed another place on the bayside had new skis and they advertised as having new skis. It makes a difference on your ridding pleasure.
Guys if you are going to have a business that is listed on Unilocal you better get it together. You High ratings as of now is only because you have no reviews. Unilocalers know this so don’t think you will get business from us until you prove yourselves. I think it is because tourist are your main business so when you are screwing up it doesn’t hurt you. Beware. .Yelp can make or break you. Be sure that we will be posting reviews on your competitors too as they also need much improvement.
This is from one business owner to another. I hope you learn something from this because at the end of the day that’s really what this is about. To help the owners of business see what’s wrong before it’s too late.

I truly wish I could say I had a great experience, just as everyone that has previously reviewed has claimed. Nope, here’s how it all went down. My husband and I went to another jet ski place where we were told no skis were available for another 2 hours. So we looked to Unilocal for another alternative and found these guys. Good reviews. Only 5 miles away. Ok. No problem. BEFORE we left we called. As soon as I heard it go to voicemail I hung up. I start driving towards their way. A few minutes later called again. Again, no answer. At this point I pulled over and thought, they must be busy, they won’t have any skis available. So we pull out the iPad, look for other places when all of a sudden I get a text. «Hi. Jet skis are open.» Alright! I respond, «ok, on our way. 2 ppl». I got the gps on, and I’m rolling. Two miles to go down Collins wasn’t easy. I maneuvered my way around slow taxis, people jumping in front trying to cross the street. Ok so we get there. Confused because all we see is hotels. We text back and ask for parking recommendations. Their response is to be on the lookout for the parking garage across the street from the holiday inn.
Ok cool. So we finally find it. We have a huge SUV and didn’t find parking until the very last floor. I put on my bathing suit. We walk across the street, and navigate our way around to the beach. At this time we receive a message saying their next opening is at 6pm. What?
We keep walking and We see this hut looking thing, there is no sign and we assume it’s them because we see some jet skis coming up near them. They are slam packed. People are surrounding them. I’m confused. Did we really go through all of this and have to wait for three hours? I call the number that’s been texting me to see who inside the hut will either answer or text back. My call goes unanswered and I couldn’t tell who has been communicating with me.
We are pissed. Beyond pissed. What was the point of calling in advance, and communicating with this guy the whole way saying «jet skis are open» for us to get there and this not be true? I thought there is no way they are going to do this to us.
My husband is pissed and he says, «let’s just go» and a few other things. This is the censored version. I text back furious and have them a piece of my mind. We head back to the car.
Whoever I had been texting NOW decides to call and talk to me. I was undecided whether or not I should answer. My husband told me not to. But I answered hoping he’d try to make things up and get us on the skis. Nope, that’s not what happened. He tries to apologize saying he can’t help people showing up… Bla bla bla. Ok fine. So I ask, «let me ask you something. What could I have done differently to ensure this wouldn’t have happened? I called BEFORE hand, no answer. You text us and basically say we’re good to go. We say we’re on our way. We even ask you about parking. We get here and you want us to wait three hours?» He literally tried to turn it around on me and say «I couldn’t have done anything differently either.»
And it gets better. This guy has the nerve to mock me and undermine me. I tell him that I own my own business and basically laughs. Saying oh really? And questioning me. Let me tell you something @sshole: I have ten years of customer service experience, a bachelors degree, an international business major, and owned my own business for two years. I can’t make everyone happy, I would lie if I said that, but 99% of my customers are satisfied and when they are not I bend over backwards to make it up to them. Because I wouldn’t be where I am, nor would I have what I have without them.
You guys take that for grant it now. You’re customers may nearly all be tourists and that’s the only thing keeping you in business. If you relied on customer loyalty and locals, you’d be in some serious trouble. And maybe that’s what it would take for you to get your sh*t together.
Here’s some additional notes: the reason we called is to find out what kind of skis they had, what their rates were, etc. we couldn’t get this information because no one answered. And clearly, because of the text messages, they obviously had time to respond which means they could have just as easily spoken to us for a minute to answer these questions. We still don’t know what their rates are. And for the record, they had much older, out of date jet skis. The other place we went to had newer, much nicer ones.

Get your jetskis here! Great prices and really chill guys. Rides in the ocean rather than the bay, which is 10x better in my opinion. The other places we went to tried to rip us off, but these guys are genuine. Go here!

The guys at the stand are so nice and fun! Definitely worth the $ 89 with groupon including beach chairs and umbrella.

I rented the jet skis for a half hr for 60 $ with a coupon. The guys were very cool and chill and they gave us extra time, so we were riding for about 45min all for 60 $.
The guys also gave us chairs and an umbrella for the day no charge.
If your in Miami check these guys out and rent the jet skis! You will not be dissappointed.
