History
Established in 2009.
Natalie Hauser, a former classical ballet dancer, first started pilates at the age of 11 in NYC. Following a long dance career, a degree in Psychology and a kidney transplant Natalie felt the need to regain strength, mind/body awareness, and a clearer mind. She did her Stott Pilates training in NYC at Pilates on Fifth, and first teaching at Pilates South Beach with Matthew Comer. When Pilates South Beach made a move to Orlando in September 2009, Natalie opened her studio. Hauser Bayside Pilates was created in September of 2009 and is still going strong.
Meet the Business Owner
Natalie H.
Business Owner
Natalie’s first love was dance and music. She began her classical ballet training in Pa. and was invited at the age of 11 to study at the prestigious School of American Ballet in NYC. Upon graduation Natalie began an illustrious professional career as a soloist and principal dancer spanning more than 17 years with prominent dance companies including: Miami City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Zurich Ballet, etc. She practiced pilates often throughout her career for core strength and to rehabilitate after injuries.
Kidney disease forced her into an early retirement and she returned to NYC to attend Fordham University, where she graduated summa cum laude in 2003 with a BA in Psychology and entered their Graduate Psychology program. She returned to pilates to cope with the stress of school and illness.
In 2004 Natalie received a kidney transplant generously donated by her stepfather. In 2006 Natalie returned to Miami and began teaching at Pilates South Beach under Matthew Comer.
