History
Established in 2005.
Giuseppe, Antonio & Gemnaro La Bufala, a.k.a. «La Bufala brothers», were born in Eboli. After the sudden death of their father, who was a producer of bufala mozzarella, they had to decide whether to keep the family business or go for a new venture. They split the money from the sale of the business and emigrated in search of a new life.
Giuseppe, went to New York and found a job as a Pizzaiolo. Antonio, or «Toto», went to Madrid, where he opened a flamenco dance school. Gennaro, the youngest, dreamed of becoming an artist. He went to Paris, where he worked as a night security guard in a car park.
The two eldest brothers reacquired the parental business and went into partnership with Gennaro and called their company «Fratelli La Bufala — FLB».
After opening a Pizzeria in Tokyo, where they achieved great success, they decided to live out their lifelong dream by returning home to Campania. They re-introduced their brand using an innovative Japanese marketing technique.
