i had a miscarriage and went through a D&C procedure twice, because the doctor failed to remove the fetus the first time. after the first D&C, i had a terrible pain, was sweating the whole day and was dizzy. call the doctor in the evening telling abt my symptoms, when he heard that i had an unbearable pain in the lower back, his replied was «but you walked out of here fine» and for the rest of the symptoms he said «it’s normal.» i started to bleed heavily the next day, so rush to M. Sinai ER. waited for over 4 hours for an Ultrasound. the tech was surprised to see the fetus intact and to know that the D&C was performed at M. Sinai, a prestigious hospital. had another D&C after few hours and had to stay at the hospital for two nights. after that i had an infection, i believe due to the first incident. doctors didn’t explain at all, they just said «it happens.»
the only caring doctor is Dr. Castillo, but for a pregnancy you’ll have to see all 3 doctors. i don’t think you want to put your and your baby’s health at risk. i’m really disappointed, specially at «that» doctor’s attitude. if he has been a little bit more professional i wouldn’t have to suffer for so many days. the pain was physical and psychological. every person’s comment that knew what i’ve been put through was sue them! but the only thing i wanted is to get pregnant again and have a healthy baby!
