Only place in South Beach that I trust with my shoes. Always handled with care as if it was there very own shoes. Highly recommended

This place is nice but the person who helped me had the worst attitude I’ve encountered in a long time. He was such a snob and uptight persona I would never go back out of principle. He obviously doesn’t have much competition… Otherwise I’m sure he’d change his attitude.

Nice people but they could never fix my shoes properly. The cover for the heels they replaced keep falling off.

The BEST shoe repair shop on the Beach! Juan, the shoe craftsman, is a miracle worker. This is my 2^nd visit to the shop and this time, I took 3 designer shoes in for soles work. One pair in particular, Gucci drivers, looked brand new all over except for the cracks in the rubber soles (they’re quite old and I’ve worn them forever). I really thought he’d tell me to throw them out. But no. He told me exactly what he could do and voila — they are now just like new! He is amazing! Great workmanship, very nice & professional staff, and the shoes were done when promised. How cool but rare is that!

Today I experienced a new low in customer service. The employees and manager at this location were rude and insulting when I complained that the shoes they had resoled and cleaned were actually dirtier than when I provided them. I was told the shoes had been «pretty beat up» and that’s why they looked dirtier now. Only after dirtying my shoes did they offer me the opportunity to buy a $ 20 cleaning that hadn’t been offered to me or seemed necessary when I dropped the shoes off. Seems like its done this way by design there, the manager didn’t seem surprised by my complaint and now that I think of it, I seem to recall a customer in this shop being given the same line not very long ago when I had been in there previously.
The re-​soling appears to have been done competently, but based on their approach to customer service I would drive out of my way to never do business with these people again. The idea that the customer is always right is in no way part of their way of doing business.

Great service, reasonably priced & even better repair work. Brought in an older pair of heels that I can’t part with & they brought them back to life! Very accessible, great location with easy parking. Highly recommend!

Very unsatisfied with their customer service! Charged me more than I was quoted after the work was done! Bad business ethics to say the least!!!
I brought my boots into Brickell shoe repair to get some work done. The boots needed the heels & soles replaced, the leather inside of the back of the boot repaired, since I had worn a hole inside of the boot from putting my foot in and out repeatedly, and a general cleaning and polishing. Raymond received my boots and quoted me $ 50 for the job.
When I went to pick up the boots the owner, Juan, helped me. He told me the total cost for the work would be $ 48 ($ 45 for the work and $ 3 tax). Before I paid for the boots I noticed the leather inside of them had not been repaired. I asked him what happened and he said that he did not think it would be easy to fix and therefore he did not do the work. I was about to tell him to just deduct the price for that repair from the overall cost when he changed his mind and told me he figured out a way he could do it if I left them for another day.
I returned two days later to pick up the boots and a girl was working the counter. She grabbed my boots from the back and told me the price was going to be $ 78. I informed her that I was originally quoted $ 50 and that when I originally came to pick them up two days ago, Juan told me the actual price was only $ 48. She called Juan to find out what was going on and he told her that the price I was quoted did not include the leather repair. I got on the phone with him personally and told him what Raymond had quoted me for the job. He insisted that I was either mistaken or lying and straight out refused to honor the price I was quoted for the work. When I told him that I felt like I was a victim of a «bait and switch» and was not comfortable paying the inflated for this reason, he threatened to remove all the work he had done if I did not pay the $ 78.
At this point I informed him that I was an attorney and then told him that I found this to be an outrageous way to conduct business. After arguing with him for a couple more minutes he offered to reduce the price to $ 65, which I begrudgingly paid since I did not want to have to deal with him anymore.
Needless to say, I will not be returning to Brickell Shoe Repair. And not because the work was too expensive, but out of principle. I would have happily agreed to pay the $ 78 if I was quoted it from the start. But instead I was lied to and then forced to pay more than I agreed to in order to get my property back unharmed. I would advise anyone who is considering Brickell Shoe Repair to be very cautious!

Best shoe repair hands down! Don’t forget that they moved to 3903 Alton Road, so don’t get confused with the older comments. Great location, easy parking, super clean!

I LOVE these guys, I used their services in Brickell and in south beach and their job is always consistent and clean. Their customer service is really on point. Long time ago I had a little problem with a rude employee they used to have but their management handled it so well it just made me trust them even more. I recommend this place to everyone that is looking to get the job done right and for a good price. Their new location on 39^th st is bigger and definitely more comfortable than the one they used to have by Alton and 15 Th.

Incredibly pleased: had the heels done on 3 pairs of shoes, they were done in less than an hour, they did MORE than I asked for, then charged LESS than originally quoted. Very personable, couldn’t ask for anything better. Thank you!

I found this place after I called another shoe repair store in miami beach and wanted to charge me $ 50 for something so simple. So I called this place brickell shoe repair and they were very friendly and fixed and cleaned my shoe for a reasonable price! This will be my shoe repair shop from now on! Great service.

Juan is amazing! I brought several boots here before and they have done an excellent job. They most recently did a FANTASTIC job on a pair of blue suede pumps! His wife helps him out also and she is sooo kind and pleasant. I recommend this place for all your shoe repair, I have high end shoes and trust them completely with my repairs and any touch ups! They go above and beyond if you are not satisfied. You will love them!

I’ve taken my little (well, no, they are definitely not little) red soled friends to many shoe repair shops and have sadly been let down quite a few times. I have to admit, I was not expecting much from a shoe repair shop smaller than my closet (which is already very small) however, Brickell Shoe Repair had pretty good reviews on Unilocal so I figured that I would give them a try.
I took 3 pairs in. One pair was in extremely bad shape. We’re talking gum on the INSIDE of the shoe. How I managed to get gum on the inside of my shoe while wearing them is beyond me, but hey, it happened. Dirt everywhere, the inside part was coming off. To sum it up, YIKES. When they told me it would be a measly $ 15 to completely repair that set of shoes, my eyebrows were definitely raised as that didn’t seem much to me!
Needless to say, 5 days later I picked up my 3 little friends all in tip top shape! I’m one happy girl!

For those of us with leather goods we just can’t part ways with. That vintage purse. Those age-​old boots. Brickell Shoe Repair gets your gear back in action. We dropped off a leather bag and they fixed the strap our dog got the best of.
I was a little underwhelmed with their repair – there could’ve been some extra touches done to the bag had they really inspected it – but we got what we paid for. I’ve seen them do great work on heels (maybe they need better flex or cushion) and if you’re the kind of lady that struts so much you’ve run your little heel to the ground, they can replace that pointy part. Guys too. Love your dress shoes and want to breathe a little more life into them? Drop your bad boys off for some of that extra spit and polish.

Very Bad Experience.
I trusted them with my favorite suede sandals which, when I dropped them off, were wearable but scruffy looking after 2 years of wear.
When I picked them up, they looked awful and cannot ever be worn again.
The guy told me that instead of getting new insoles — which is what I asked for — that he would simply re-​glue the existing insole and clean the suede.
Warned me they would never look like new again. But they would certainly look better.
I paid $ 25 in advance.
If the shoes looked better and were still wearable, I would have considered $ 25 a bargain.
Sadly, that is not the case.
If you can imagine this — they used black glue on my tan suede!
Like another reviewer, when I picked up the counter clerk did not speak English. So I couldn’t get my money back.
Don’t pay 100% up front!

This place is amazing, and do not let the prices put you off, the work is worth every penny.
I have three pair of really nice work shoes that I have worn down over the years, and they are to expensive to just replace every time. One of the pairs I have had since 2007, and another I had repaired by another shop and they made them look terrible by doing half ass work, shuch as simply putting a new sole over the old one.
I found Brickell shoe repair walking home from dunkin donuts through the alley and I gave them a try. I slowly rotated all three pairs of my shoes through their hands and I could not be happier with the results. Each pair look almost like new. All of the sores are brand new, and re stitched, not just glued on. The leater is treated and polished. Rough areas are smoothed out, and look great.
There are still sctratches, but this is repair not miricle working. I will fully reccomend anyone to this shop who needs good shoes repaired.
It cost me $ 50 a pair to have my work shoes look new again.
They are located 1 ½ blocks south of Dunkin donuts in the alley way.

I now know the the super discrete, unnamed location of this shoe repair joint. I ALSO know that my 2 pairs of boots have never looked better after coming back shiny and descuffed– ready for fall travels!
They glued and fixed the heel on one boot, and shined and treated both pair. For $ 30. Score! The guy that helped me at drop off was a leather wizard and very friendly. Unfortunately the guy who I picked up from barely spoke English and made me seem like a cheap fool when I gave him a Dealtificate voucher. Apparently he didn’t get the memo on what it was but finally let me leave after I described all the details (and held up the line for 5 minutes).
Super secret location is alley behind Jimmy’z Kitchen. You can park back there if you’re quick and don’t block the whole alley.

When everything works out as predicted, they get 5 stars on Tue 6 Sep.
My only pair of shoes (I’m on the road for weeks so I can’t get to another pair of shoes) developed a hole in the sole and I need them for the office on the Tue after Labor Day. I brought them in on Sat morn, and they said they’d have them for me Tue at 9 AM!
Also, the alley-​way location takes some finding, but worth it, if you take good care of your shoes.

Every pair I’ve taken here for repairs has come back looking good. Don’t be thrown off by the alley-​way entrance… the guys here do good work and at a reasonable price.
