This used to be my primary care physician as recommended by family before I switched to my current one. First of all, you never get the sense that he genuinely cares. He listens to your problem, attempts to help, then — before you know it — he’s out the room. I once complained about stomach pains. He administered an H pylori test, the results came back negative and that was it. No further follow-up. My brother visited one time after experiencing vomiting and diarrhea, and was given an expired sample of Prevacid. Really? On the flip side though, I’ve always been able to schedule an appointment the day of, and if you don’t have insurance, it’s only $ 50 for a general appointment. Furthermore, I visited once with an abrasion caused by an insect bite that didn’t appear to be healing, and he gave me some Xeroform dressing that seemed to finally help(hallelujah!). So I’m grateful for that.
