So disappointed. I’ve been getting teaching supplies at Teacher’s Pet for several years now. Though pricey, they have just about everything I’ve needed and it’s close to where I work. During my last visit, I tried to return a book and was told they don’t accept books for return(for obvious reasons), but I was unaware of the policy, as it’s not posted on the receipt, and told them it’s too bad that that’s their policy because things are so pricey at the store. In return, I was told that it was«too bad that I can’t understand [their] reasons for the return policy.» I asked her not to assume that I didn’t understand the policy, just that I was disappointed in it and that it makes me not want to shop there if I can’t bring something back. The rudeness with which she continued to communicate with me was astounding. I walked out of the store in absolute shock from the way she spoke to me. Honestly, I’m still so surprised at the treatment. So, that’s the last time I’ll ever head to Teacher’s Pet! Worth the extra drive to go somewhere with better prices and nicer people.
