Moksha Spa and Wellness Center

The services I have revived here have been pretty good but the owner is a bit off. She hates groupons yet still advertises on groupon. I feel as if she is a bit sketchy and could provide better customer service without pressure to clients.

I had massage and facial here. The spa is just alright, nothing special. The massage wasn’t that good, but I can say it was acceptable. The owner did my facial, and I can tell you it was the WORST facial I have ever done in my life. The way she massaged my face was so rough, not relaxing at all. During the facial, she tried to sell me some products which I had to tell her so many time that I will try it at another time. My experience at this spa was NOT good at all!!!

I went here for a massage a few months ago because I had a groupon. It was really terrible. When I came into the building, no one was there to greet me. A sloppy young man finally came out from some room and handed me paperwork.
I was the only one there, and still, my appointment started 15 minutes late. I believe my appointment was for 11 AM, and it started around 11:15 (by the time she gave me the tour, which I didn’t really want.)
My groupon was for a hot stone massage, which she only did for about 25% of the time. The rest of it was just a regular massage. I hated the music. I would have preferred silence– not my style and it was way too loud. She never asked me my opinion about it. The massage itself was really not good. It was uneven– she would do the right arm, and forget the left. Not a ton of pressure-​I felt ticklish, which I don’t usually experience. And she used some VERY strong scented oil. I couldn’t get the smell out for anything, so I stank of Patchouli for days.
Worst of all– in the middle of what is supposed to be a «relaxing» experience, her cell phone went off at a very loud volume. And she answered it! I couldn’t believe how unprofessional it was.
Finally– my groupon was for a 75 minute hot stone massage. Like I said earlier– my appointment did not start until 11:15. She ended super early. I was dressed, paid, and out the door by 12:15 (which wasn’t actually a huge problem because the massage was terrible. I was happy to leave.) I didn’t want to leave a tip, but I felt pressured upon checking out.
There are plenty of other spas in this area that are cleaner, better quality, and more professional.

would have loved to try the yoga classes I signed up for, schedule, and paid for on the Moksha website. I drove the 20 minutes to the studio, classes confirmed, payment made (and confirmed via email) and the owner said «we don’t have an account with them, there is no way you paid for classes» Called spafinder who said «yes, they do have an account with us, we cannot refund you the money because they have it, not us» Moksha owner said if I paid another 20, I could still take the class I signed up for. very generous, I want my money back, but no one seems to have it. She could have at least let me take the class I showed up for. Geez. 50 dollars lost! And not very nice. The yoga instructor DID seem very nice and sweet.

Went here today with a Groupon that had Expired. Called ahead and they were glad to honor it for paid value of $ 49. I decided on a pedicure which they normally charge $ 55 for. When i arrived I was greeted right away. The inside of this place is quite lovely and smelled divine. It was a very peaceful and relaxing. I was taken in right away. I was excited for what I thought would be a great experience. The first issue was the fact that I had polish already on my toes and they had absolutely no nail polish remover. huh? It took the girl about 10 minutes to find some and I have no idea where she found it. The products were cheap. I recognized some of them from my local dollar store. For the amount of $ they charge I was totally expecting better quality. The nail polish itself was also cheap, outdated and looked old. The technician was nice and treated me and my daughter very well. She seemed to struggle a bit with the pedicure. It was much like a pedicure I would give myself with paper towels between my toes and Q-​tips on hand for smudges. I asked about their Yoga classes while getting the pedi and she was not too knowledgeable on what types of classes they offered. The relaxation room they have you sit in after is nice. They give you water which is also nice. Overall the experience was disappointing. Toes on both feet have smudged and it was only several hours later. I am so glad I only paid $ 6 plus tip which was vey generous of me considering the experience. Perhaps they are better at other things but I would never go here for a Pedi again.

I had gotten one of those deal sites for a yoga package that was pretty cheap so I tried it. I have been to a few yoga places and this place I have liked the least. You do get personal attention because the most people that had ever been in any of my classes were 5 and there were classes where it was just me. Class doesn’t always start right on time and they don’t go over if they start a little late like some other places. I didn’t care for the owner’s style of yoga at all. I almost questioned how much she really knew as she was doing a lot of things that I have always done at the end of other classes at the beginning of this class. There was no flow. The other girls are good though. It never seems that anyone picks up the phone or is at the front desk when you go either.

I go here for yoga only, so I don’t know anything about the spa. I got a groupon and live walking distance, so I thought I’d give it a try. I have never done yoga before, so I can’t compare this to anything. I can say that I had a very good time and enjoyed going. The room was always clean and a good temperature.
There are various instructors, but all of them were good. Sometimes there are only 1 – 3 people in the class, so you get plenty of attention. They don’t cancel the class if only 1 person shows up, so I had a private lesson once by chance. Overall, I went about 15 times. I liked it a great deal and would continue going if I didn’t move.

This place is awesome! Great atmosphere, exceptional staff, and overall a wonderful and enjoyable experience. I came in to get a massage as well as check out their cellulite treatment and I was not disappointed! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Made me feel right at home and at ease and the cellulite treatment worked wonders! The results were amazing and the process was a breeze! I can’t believe how well it worked. Will definitely be back. Everything was top-​notch and I walked out feeling easy, breezy, beautiful.

1 star is GENEROUS but it’s my only option. I have driven past this spa in my car on many occasions and was curious to try it out. I was excited when Groupon offered a $ 49 Manicure & Pedicure at Moksha’s spa! First groupon I had ever purchased. Well, I called and made an appointment this past weekend. My appointment was for 1:30 I was there at 1:15 to be early and ready. As I walked in the nicely decorated place, there was no receptionist or anyone. Seemed like everyone was busy in the back… sooo I waited and looked at a bunch of OVER PRICED Indian merchandise and knock offs that are for sale in the front. Finally, 45 min later someone greets me (it’s nail tech). It is now 10 of 2pm! She asks me to go to the pedicure/​Mani room and pick a color, she said there was a girl drying up but it’s ok she is done. Sooooo I proceeded, the room was nicely decorated and tight for 2 ppl… I looked up on the wall to notice the nail polish selection was one you buy at a local cvs.“Revelon, an other cheapy brands, and there was 2 China Glaze, so I picked one of those which was almost empty but it was the only color that seemed nice. As I checked out all the products, I noticed «Biglot cheapo brand Q-​tips, cotton balls from cvs, cheap files from cvs, all the products were CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP. Boy was I surprised since a regular priced Pedi/​Mani is $ 110!!! Which I would never pay. But since I had a $ 49 deal, I figured this would be an extra special extra good experience. NOT! Sooo The woman who is in her mid 40’s begins to tell me she has been there 5 months and a Little bit about the salon. She was quiet, not much talkative and I kinda felt bad for her because I felt like she knew she sucked!!! Anyhow, it took her 1 hour to do my pedicure… which was the worse pedicure I could of ever, ever, everrrrrrrrrrrr got!!! She did not scrub my feet well, she did NOT give me a massage, she did NOTHING I repeat NOTHING special to my feet… no wax puffin treatment, no nothing. Ohhh worse of all she didn’t have those little toe separators, she sticks cotton balls in between your toes, which obviously is a bad thing because cotton gets stuck to your nail polish!!! She had to fix my toe because it was covered in Cotton! The nail tech kept saying «I keep telling the owner we need those» Duhhh You think!
Now I move to the chair to do my nails… there is NO dryer for your feet to dry in! You just let them hang there and air dry. Actually she had a ghetto fan on the floor don’t know if that’s to keep us cool or for our feet! What a joke of a place! Soooooo she is taking about 45 min– 1 hour to do my manicure (SHE WAS SO SLOW, it killed me) she didn’t cut my cuticles, though she pretended too. but nothing was happening. NO hand massage… no NOTHING! she actually cut me on 3 fingers with her cheap 99 cent files from CVS and I am not joking… I said OUCH a few times because she hurt me! I have the scars to prove it!
There was one hand dryer… and I mean one hand dryer for one hand! so you would have to keep switching hands to dry them… of course I hit my fingers and she had to redo 2 nails. Which took another 15 min to accomplish! As the nail tech was fixing my 2 nails that needed to be redone, the owner finally graces us with her presence and says «hi, do you need a drink of water or anything? «I felt like saying HELL NO LADY I am about to leave, now you ask me!!! But instead I politely said, «No thx:)» Anyways, I wanted to get the hec out of that scam of a place, and all I had was a $ 10 to tip the poor nail tech who I actually felt bad for… she didn’t deserve it because she had no clue what she was doing, but I felt pity on her! Soooo after I left the spa and my nails dried… they all had bubbles all over them every single nail had little bubbles and areas that were smudgy looking. IT IS THE WORSE I REPEAT THE WORSE MANICURE AND PEDICURE I HAVE EVER EVER EVERRRRRRR HAD… I go ever month to a spa and get a pedicure and mani… and I alway get my nails done a few times a month so I know how they are suppose to look and how it is suppose to be done! I AM SOOOO DISAPPOINTED! PLEASE CONSUMERS BE WARE! the tech even said, that the owner was going to do another groupon for a facial would strongly suggest to stay the hell back! You’re better off at a local Asian nail salon or chain!!!

Absolutely horrible!!! I went there for a Mani/​pedi and the woman told me she’d have to rush because she had another appointment. She didn’t know where anything was. Very understaffed. The phone rang the whole time I was there. She did such a half ass job. I could have done it better. This place does not deserve to charge these prices!!! Total ripoff!!! DO NOT GO HERE!

I finally took advantage of a gift certificate I received for this place for a massage. I decided to get a massage the morning of a big law school final, just to keep me nice and relaxed.
The waiting room area was well decorated, and the staff was very friendly bringing me out a glass of water to start. They had few options for massages, and I asked if I should get the relaxtion massage, or the Indian head, neck, shoulder massage. The maseusse Kate told me that if I was going in to take an exam in four hours I should go with the regular relaxation massage, becasue the Indian head, neck shoulder would be too much, and I might not be able to focus on what was in my head.
The total massage time was actually very close to the hour, not like some places I’d been to in the past where they disrobing, and pre-​converation was considered part of your hour.
I don’t go to spas often for massages, but I can say that I can see myself getting gift certificates for other people to this place.
