Rudest employees I have ever seen working at a discount store and what a real b**** that works in the dressing room still spent $ 200 but I will never go back again

My first visit here I was on a mission for black jeans. I was successful and they were a pretty good price. However this review isn’t so much about this store’s selection as it is about the customer service. On my first visit I had like three pair of jeans and two sweaters at check out. Both sweaters I got from the clearance rack. One of my sweaters did not have a price. I already knew the drill on things without a price and I told the woman at the register since it was clearance there wasn’t another one like it. She goes and speaks to a manager who tells her to go look for one. She doesn’t look in clearance(where I got the sweater) she goes to a designer rack. Which would make since IF it was a designer sweater it was not. She comes back with after about a five minute wait with a not similar over priced sweater. I did not purchase. Today I go in for one thing quick in and out trip. It’s the holiday season so the line is a little long but no more then like a ten minute wait. When it’s my turn I’m waiting to hear«cashier number __please» but instead I got a hand gesture. I walk to the counter I give a smile and say hello the cashier turns and starts speaking to the woman ringing next to her. She take the hoodie I’m buying from my hand and stabs me with her finger nail not paying attention but still talking to the woman next to her. She doesn’t say a word to me the entire transaction beyond $ 10.86. I said«thank you. Have a nice day» she still didn’t speak! Idk if customer service is no longer a thing or not. But I thought it was rude.

I love TJMaxx! The main parts I purchase items from are the jewelry, shoes, purses, and gifts sections. I have a thing for finding designer sunglasses for a cheap price and you can usually find that here. My only complaint is that people leave their drinks ALLOVERTHESTOREANDITISDISGUSTING. Also, the bathroom is pretty gross. This location has pretty ample parking but if you go during Halloween beware –there is a Halloween store right next to it!

I really like visiting this TJ Maxx because their selections are always still contempo when compared to other locations. However, the men’s department is tiny in comparison to the women and infants. The Home Department likewise shelves the latest in furniture and kitchen accessories at great discounts. The only downfall I have yet to see a complete of living room furniture(always a piece missing) but that’s minor when you see the price.

My favorite TJ Maxx! They always have a great purse and shoe selection. The other items tend to wax and wane with the ending of the seasons. Always a great deal for the cost. Name brands at less than half the cost. Great choice if you don’t mind it not being the latest trend. Negatives: messy(it’s a discount store), unpleasant employees who don’t always speak English, and long lines. I wouldn’t ever go to a store like this looking for something in particular. If you just need some new clothes and have an open mind, this is the place for you.

If you are not familiar with TJ Maxx, they sell high end and designer items at a discount. Usually it is a pretty decent discount, although they can be a bit steep. I have a special affinity for the health and beauty aids section as I love the higher end shampoos and soaps. The lotions and bubble baths are occasionally more than you would pay for them at Macy’s and Dillard’s so watch out. There is a modicum of organization at TJ Maxx but just barely. Most of the time, I just wander around the store looking through all sizes and departments as there is something about this place that prevents things from remaining in the proper sections. I have to fight the urge to reorganize everything. If you are interested there is a 30 day layaway. There are lots of things you can’t put on layaway there so don’t load up a whole buggy thinking you are about to put housewares and such on layaway. They will not let you. The employees all seem miserable. Even the manager has the«Get out while you still can» look. The computer voice at the registers directing you to a specific register are a little weird. «Register 4 is now available, Please proceed to register 4.» I’m always tired when I leave here, like I have fought a battle and lost.

Stopped in looking for rain apparel. I was unable to find anything. The displays and store were well stocked with spring items. I have always found this place to be a great way to get nice items for competitive prices.

This Tj Maxx seems less messy than most that I’ve been to.
