Business Owner

Joel Duran is the sole owner of Sunbelt Business Brokers of New Orleans, LA. He has lived in New Orleans for over 25 years. Joel is a Certified Business Broker, and is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Louisiana. Joel graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in Business Administration. While still a Junior at UNO, Joel wrote the Business Plan for his first successful business venture. He took the Internet company from business plan to $ 2.5 million in sales in just under three years. Having run an Internet business for the better part of a decade, he has a unique ability to drive traffic to his clients listings by leveraging the power of the web and putting it to work for them. Joel has been a guest lecturer at UNO for both Business Planning and Small Business Finance. He has also held multiple positions in sales management and finance management. Joel is very active in the local business community through UNO, BNI, Idea Village, ACG, and Lambda Chi Alpha.
