I just had my third vehicle tinted here and I must say that the level of service is excellent.
I have one question for Steve who had a complaint against this business. Why didn’t you get your warranted tint fixed at the place where you bought it? I’m guessing that they didn’t stand behind their product and didn’t really care what you or anyone else thinks about their level of service. I would love to know what kind of review you have that company.
I’m hoping that you’re not a hypocrite.
All in all a great experience yet again and I will continue to bring my vehicles to shade tree tinting.

I came in here to get my window tint removed and replaced under warranty. At first everything seemed like it would be done quite simply by James at Shade Tree. 5 days later it still is not done. The holdup… the window tint company won’t approve James to do the job b/​c they say my tint is illegal and they won’t replace illegal tint. Ummm my tint is LEGAL. Just because the original installer couldn’t fill out my warranty card properly with the correct roll #‘s doesn’t mean my tint is illegal.
Even an untrained eye can see that my tint is not dark enough to be illegal. A window tint installer, obviously, should be able to see the difference. Even the customer waiting with me laughed when he overheard that my tint is «illegal». James was installing tint on this guy’s truck that was a lot darker than my tint. So I left and took my car somewhere else so they could put a meter on it. The meter read 42% (40% or below is illegal in Louisiana). Unfortunately I have to deal with Shade Tree because they are the only ones in the area that install the window film that I use. Hopefully when I go back there this week James will have an approval from the warranty department to do the job.
I am very very patient and can easily deal with rude or bad service but at least know your shit. If you only do one thing do it well if you want to have a thriving business.
