Avoid like the plague. This pretty much applies to any one of these establishments in and around the New Orleans area. With it’s misleading name, Sav-​A-​Center is grotesquely overpriced for a blah grocery store, and to add insult to injury, the products are often of poor quality. I’ve had to return spoiled items immediatly after purchase on more occasions than I’d like to recount. Oh, and don’t forget to check your receipt before you leave — the cash registers are possessed by mischievious gremlins and tend to add a significant amount to your total… oops.
