History

Established in 1970.

Dr. Raul Ramirez opened his practice as a solo practitioner in Metairie, Louisiana 43 years ago. Dr. Ramirez did his undergraduate studies and received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Loyola University in 1965. After completing his education, Dr. Ramirez took a rotating internship at the Veterans Hospital in 1966. Following his internship, he taught Dentistry at Loyola of New Orleans and L.S.U. Dental School of New Orleans for 15 years. He has also participated in several years of missionary work in Saltillo, Mexico.

Dr. Ramirez’s main priority is to stay current with the latest advances in dentistry by attending a minimum of 60 hours of continuing education a year. This allows him to offer his patients the latest options. Most recently, he has attended several courses at the world-​renowned Las Vegas Institute (LVI Global), one of the most successful post-​graduate educational centers in the world. His continued focus is on comprehensive aesthetic reconstructive and neuromuscular dentistry.
