Dr. Maria Markiewicz was born and raised in southeast Louisiana. She started her educational path by completing her undergraduate studies at Southeastern Louisiana University. Continuing her education, she completed her Podiatric training at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.

After moving back to home to Louisiana, Dr. Markiewicz continued to develop her career by completing her surgical residency program at the Doctors Hospital of Jefferson. During this training she found her passion for treating foot and ankle problems. Though her years of experience and education, Dr. Markiewicz utilizes her unique skill sets by serving the people of the Greater New Orleans area.
