This year for Mardi Gras, we went all out with a celebration of giant King’s Cakes for our posse and crew. YUM! Do not be afraid of the calories… something this good should be enjoyed! The service was of course hospitable and courteous and the cakes divine. Even some of our local gurus gave it the thumbs up… I’m sold.
Oh, and I found the baby in the cake — all the better!

It is so good. Caramel, pecans, cream cheese… amazing. My boyfriend’s family is from New Orleans and he swears by it. Get this king cake, it’s worth the little bit extra in price compared to other (plain, less good) king cakes.
