Nikki rescued my hair from a horrendous color job and severe damage. Through deep conditioning treatments, the right products and a colorist who knows what she’s doing — my hair is finally feeling back to normal! Thanks to Nikki and Amal for restoring my faith in stylists.

I recently visited this salon to get my hair colored from the first time since moving to Metairie. Nervous about letting someone other than my usual hairdresser do my hair I found the only 4 – 5 Star salon on Unilocal,Keith Noonan. Gerald who did my hair the first time could not have been more off on my color, he knew I was disappointed and offered to do something in 2 weeks whenever I was due back for a free wash and style (all new clients get this). Crying as I left, I just couldn’t wait two weeks. I called to speak to the manager the next day and was informed that there is not a manager there on Saturdays and she would call back Monday. Connie, the manager called back on Monday and was very rude over the phone. She refused to believe that anything could have possibly gone wrong and didn’t seem like she really wanted to help me, however she did make an appointment with a different color «specialist» and I returned to get my hair done with Megan. Megan was great but after going through the process again my hair is still very similar to the original color of my hair. Connie never acknowledged me while I was back for the second time and walked past me a couple of times. I would think that a business would want their clients to be happy. All in all the salon seemed pretty catty and pretentious and I will not be returning. Why go to an expensive, high end salon to get results that could be achieved using a box from Walmart.

This is my first time at keith noonan, and i absolutely love the hair style i was given by my stylist Courtney.
I am definitely going to go back to her every time in the future. She listened to what my expectations were and delivered, and its not very easy to please me as I’m very critical with my hair and its style.
Courtney is very sweet and patient to understand what I as a client wanted with my hair.

I have a brand new look! My cut and color are the stuff television make overs are made of. The salon is top notch with top notch professionals that make you feel welcome and special. Keith has decades of experience in a precision cut that is custom, personal and flattering. My colorist Megan found the most creative combination to complete the look. This is my go-​to salon in New Orleans where I know I will never be disappointed or have a bad experience. The staff is professional and extremely nice, and the products, the atmosphere — just the whole salon — feels first class.
I see Trang for my color, and she is wonderful. When she was unavailable recently, I saw Jamie, who colored my hair exactly like the picture I brought in. Couldn’t be happier.
I’ve bounced around for who does my cut, but just had Courtney, who did a fantastic job. She’s also incredibly sweet.
Prices are worth the results.

Calie was wonderful! She cut and styled my hair better than I ever could! I was in town for my brothers wedding, and she made me look and feel like a superstar. I forgot to get my hair done back at home, so when I arrived I was frantic trying to get an appointment in with just days before the wedding! The receptionist took my call with pleasure, and set up an appointment the next morning. Next time I come to New Orleans, I will purposely wait until I am there to get my hair cut!

Drew is extremely talented in his profession. He always accommodates my busy schedule and makes me feel as good as my hair looks when done.

I have yet to find a salon that can rival Keith Noonan’s or a stylist that can compare to Chris. I trust him unconditionally with my hair. He is really good about listening to the type of cut that you want but he also takes your hair type into account as well as the amount of effort you’re willing to invest in styling your hair after you leave the salon. Sometimes I have an idea of what my hair to look like, but usually I don’t and I always LOVE the cut I get.
I grew up getting my hair cut at Keith Noonan’s and while I have occasionally strayed and gotten hair cuts elsewhere by necessity, they never compare to the cuts I get from Chris. Getting my hair cut here is a bit of a splurge (around $ 70 after tip) but it is totally worth it. My hair cuts look great for months, not just on the day I get the cut.
Just an example of customer satisfaction/​loyalty: for about the past 10 years, Chris has cut my mom’s hair, my aunts’ hair, and my cousin’s hair. Chris styled my hair for my wedding and it looked fantastic. Every time I come back to New Orleans, right after I buy my plane ticket, I make an appointment for a hair cut with Chris!

Drew is a great stylist who always starts off a cut with a relaxing scalp and hand massage and keeps you engaged with genuine conversation while trimming your locks. He is conscious of what you want but also advises you against making decisions that are bad for your hair. He is always great about squeezing you in when you’re in a bind. I can’t recommend him enough!

This was my first haircut here. I had a long time stylist in Florida and just hadn’t been able to make myself trust anyone else with my hair. Drew did an amazing job and I really couldn’t be happier. I will definitely be going back!

Amazing!!! Worth the pain-​in-​the-​butt parking situation at Metairie Village. My whole family and even my extended family have been loyal customers for years. Jamie does my coloring and Rhonda cuts my hair. I’ve also worked with Sonny and Chris, who are absolutely fabulous!!! I’ve had shoulder length haircuts, long layers, bangs and more. I’ve colored my hair chocolate brown to light blonde. My hair always feels absolutely healthy and fresh. The Aveda products are natural and smell amazing. I’ll recommend Keith Noonan until I die.

There is nothing better in the sweaty New Orleans summers than having Tran straighten your hair. Now I can go outside, get gross and then come home and shower without having to blowdry my hair all over again. I’ve done Keratin treatments before — but none of them have been as good as Tran’s. Yes, its expensive — but its totally worth the time, effort and heartache you’ll save.

I highly recommend this salon. The staff is friendly and professional and the salon both relaxing and buzzing with activity. Chris perfect for haircuts and styling and understands «problem» hair like mine – fine, thin, cowlicks, wavy etc. He made me feel like I wasn’t a problem child at all – ha ha – and just made my hair look great!

Went to see David for a haircut! After getting a series of bad cuts I am so thankful I got in to see him! He did a great job «fixing» my hair!

I am a naturally curly brunette and have never in my life done anything drastic to my hair. I came here, thanks to my lovely boyfriend, who won me a package from this salon in an auction. I was to receive free hair color, and a cut and style, along with other goodies.
So, this was my chance to take a risk… summer’s almost here and I wanted something different. Michelle did my highlights and she did an amazing job. She didn’t over do it, but did it just right. Now I like wearing my hair curly! It looks so pretty. Nancy styled it and she is great too.

I recently got my hair done at the salon from Ronda and though I haven’t been there in a great while I will DEFINTELY be returning. I have very dense thin hair and Ronda knew just what to do to give it movement and bounce. The aveda products were terrific and left me with a soft, clean scent that lasted the entire evening.
I even made an appt with a colorist named Adriane for this coming up weekend. I am very excited!
My daughter had her hair cut by Chris Kijko. He did a wonderful job and made the experience a special one.

I can honestly say this is the best salon I’ve been to. They do have many regulars, «I’ve been going here 10 years,» the woman in the chair next to me said. They have built up a lot of customer loyalty. I’ve moved to Houston for work, but I still come back every couple of months and I always have an appointment waiting at Keith Noonan.
I use Chris Kijko for styling. He can do it all. A lot has happened to my hair in the last few years and he’s helped me do what I want with it, and given me all the tips I need to make it look good on my own. Growing out long, trimming back, all the while keeping it looking natural and just plain good. No matter what disaster befalls my poor locks, he’s like the Cleaner there to fix the mess.
I’ve been getting my hair colored by Sunny Kijko, as well. She’s got a good eye for fashionable looks and I’ve had a lot of fun playing around with different colors – for making a statement but at the same time keeping it subtle and professional. She’s also been a huge help in make-​up, and spent a session with me suggesting new looks.
They have a very good, fun, and friendly group that works the salon overall. It’s cool to see the staff develop over the years, as well. I’ve referred a lot of friends to Keith Noonan Salon; they are very welcoming to new clients.

I have long, curly hair. It’s almost impossible to find a stylist that can work with long, curly hair (believe me, I’ve tried). I’ve heard everything from «you have enough hair on your head for two people», to «I should charge you double for so much hair»! The one thing about having hair is that other «curly girls» actually talk to each other about products. I’ve had conversations in restaurants, restrooms, airports, grocery stores, etc., about curly hair. It’s like we have a secret! I first heard about Chris and Sunny at Keith Noonan’s from a «curly girl» Sunny makes sure I’m a «natural» redhead, and Chris makes sure my cut is always perfect! I’m hooked, and I’m never leaving them!
