I’m obsessed with this place. I love all of the furniture. Prices are high (or it would be 5 stars). They have a great floral department and a framing department.

Gordon’s of Metairie is a good place to visit if you are looking for that last piece (s) to finish decorating a nook or a room. I wouldn’t start here to decorate a room as they simply don’t have that big of a selection in the way of furniture. However, once we get the major pieces for a room, the store is worth a visit. It is hit or miss for us finding something but that is based on our tastes. Others may empty their wallets on each visit. There are always lots of knick knacks to change the focus in a room and plenty of seasonal items for those that need to redecorate a living space on a monthly basis.

Reasons to go to Gordon’s:
You need some picture frames, art supplies, a slipper chair, some artificial flowers, and a bunch of Saints accoutrement. Honestly, they have the most random stuff. Before the National hobby chains game to town, there was Gordon’s (and used to be Eric’s of whatever part of town). Seriously, this location has the most random assortment of furniture; I was very surprised that they didn’t have what I was looking for… an umbrella stand.
Lots of seasonal bric-​à-​brac. And I believe they have a service department that will make dried flower arrangements/​wreaths/​swags for you. They also have a framing department.
