Do not live here! This place is ridiculous! It took a year(no joke) to fix electricity in the sunroom that turned out to be a mistake they made when enclosing the balcony! My A/C keeps breaking and lord forbid you have an emergency over night good luck ever seeing someone. Every time something takes a long time to be handled I just get told, I just received the request. The neighborhood is very sketchy I see police cars often. On top of this the people in the office are useless and rude. This company definitely does not value their residents.

I feel safe living here and never had any problems. Always a parking space no matter what time of night. The location is close to everything.

I recently relocated from California and I must say that I LOVE the staff at Fox Run. Lana and Brittany were such wonderful help. They made the moving experience extremely easy and they did not have me go through soo much just to see that if I qualified. The application process was way much easier while others were just stressful. I must say… the apartment complex isn’t the most modern complex BUT for the size and amount, I think it’s worth it(especially coming from California where everything cost an arm and a leg). The maintenance group and the neighbors are wonderful; there’s no suspicious activity and I always feel safe here! I must add I’m really happy with the location of the apartment as well. Being a foreigner, practically everything I need is within 5 mins. So believe me when I say, I’m a happy camper: D

After living in the Fox Run apartments, I will never consider staying with 1st Lake Properties again. The neighborhood is not the worst, but it is not safe enough for you to walk your dog at night. Our neighbors are incredibly inconsiderate and rude. I get woken up in the middle of the night because of my neighbor’s TV being so loud or they are just being loud and obnoxious. We have complained about this to maintenance many times, but the problem has yet, and most likely will not get fixed. Our A/C unit leaks water all over the wall every other month or so. When we moved in, the apartment did not look like it had been cleaned well. The kitchen floor was very dirty and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently. I am looking forward to my lease expiring in the next few months!

This place is terrible. I had heard great things about 1st Lake Properties before moving here, but I will never, ever recommend them to anyone after the experience we had at Fox Run. 1. While the apartments themselves are nice, the neighborhood is not. There are always shady people wandering around the surrounding streets. 2. The maintenance is terrible. It took them almost two weeks to fix a major roof leak(we kept being told«we will put it on the list»). Afterwards, it took almost two months for them to fix the subsequent moldy ceiling that the leak created. Gross. 3. Maintenance again – it took almost 6 days for them to fix our air conditioning in the middle of summer in southern Louisiana. It took 2 days to get the new unit, and then another 4 to install it because it rained for about 20 minutes each day. They did not reimburse us for the time we spent not being able to live in our 90 degree humid apartment because there is something in the lease about not being able to fix the A/C if it rains. I assume this is not the first time it has happened, and will not be the last. 4. The staff is incredibly rude and inconsiderate. We did pay our rent late a couple of times due to financial issues. Both times, we happily paid the late fees and apologized for the lateness. This did not stop the staff from throwing this in our face when the aforementioned maintenance issues came about. 5. At least once a month, the exterior lighting in the hallways is not working in the middle of the night. This is extremely unsafe because of the neighborhood, and because some people have to walk up to the 3rd floor to get into their apartments. Please consider living elsewhere. I am glad we are leaving soon, and I would not wish this upon anyone else.
