Fixit Computer & Phone Repair

We had an iPhone 6 that stopped charging. We brought it to the Apple Store and they said the charging port was bad and there was nothing they could do to fix it. They also said no way to retrieve any info off the phone. I found this place and brought the phone in. They installed a new charging port based off the info I told them and upon testing realized it wasn’t the charging port but the battery was shot. The Apple Store was completely wrong in their diagnosis and there solution was sorry get a new phone. These guys were able to diagnose and fix the problem in less than a hour. Phone works just like new. I highly recommend them and would definitely come here with any other technical issues. On top of this, they were very friendly and honest which goes a long way these days.

They damaged the «back» and «menu» buttons on my phone when removing the broken glass front. When brought to their attention, they reversed all the charges. It was a 3-​year old phone anyway, and I just replaced it.

I brought my Lenovo Yoga Pro in because the touch screen had become separated from the top. They were super helpful in telling me what they would have to do to repair it, how much it would cost, and how quickly the turnaround would be. My computer looks like brand new! Best Buy, Shmest Shmuy. I’m only using FixIt from now on. Thanks y’all!!!

I’ve used this group twice now. Both times to replace a broken screen on an iPhone. This time the screen had dead spots. They also installed a tempered protector which I removed to try and get the screen to work. When I took my phone back 3 days later there were no questions asked. Not only did they replace the screen for no charge, they replaced they replace the tempered protector at no cost. Fixit has my 5 Star Vote. Dave

I am compelled to amend my review. Mike called me after my original review and asked me to bring the phone back in. He really wanted to make me a happy customer. I took it back and in an hour, they had replaced nearly everything in the phone… the vibrator, the ringer, the headphone jack, etc. It’s not often you find people who really care about their business and the customers. A big thumbs up to Mike and his staff.

These guys are great. They give it to you just like it is. If it can be fixed, they will, if it can’t be fixed, they let you know why. I’ve had them look fix my PS3 and my Xbox. They put in a new screen on a laptop that I thought I was going to have to throw away. It is done with they say it will be, and once, because they had to order a part, they called to let me know that it was going to be late.

I’ve used Fix It more than once. They’re always fair and professional — and always quick, too, which is great.
Even if you don’t know what the problem is, this is a good place to bring your phone, because they won’t use it as excuse to over-​charge you. They’re seeking customers for life, not a quick buck.

I am at a loss for words over how these guys helped us! My daughters iPad mini smashed on the sidewalk and the day before a trip out of town these guys fixed it! We couldn’t afford the other fix
it sat around for months… prices, spectacular!!! The crew who worked with the customers, very friendly! One day and done! Give them a chance!!!

I have used Fix-​it several times and have recommended it to several family, friends, and co-​workers. They repaired my iphone 6 to like-​new condition after i dropped it and shattered the screen. They also don’t void you warranty like the Apple store will.

I will recommend this place every time I’m asked «do you know where I can get this fixed»? My moms laptop was broken and my iPhone screen was cracked to the point where I couldn’t tell it was still a phone. I took my iPhone for a screen replacement based on several positive reviews. This was a good experience. I went for lunch in one of the restaurants nearby and it was done when lunch was done.

Referred to these guys by ICE who only do iPhones. He was totally honest and told me I was better off buying a new phone then paying the cost to replace my screen. Will definilty stick with these guys in the future!

I’m so excited to have my laptop back in my hands adware free that I can barely type out this review! The folks over at fixit are absolute angels. They got rid of all the ads and popups that had been plaguing me for only eighty six dollars! That’s less than half of what I would’ve been charged had I gone to one of the more well known technology stores. Not to mention that I’m pretty sure they got rid of all the dust between my keys. Next time my laptop so much as whirrs wrong, I’m taking it straight back to them. They clearly know what they’re doing.

Very good place to repair laptops or cell phones. Since the DC Jack on my laptop was broken, I took into the place. They called a couple of days later when the part specific to my laptop arrived. They had it fixed in 2 hours and I picked it up the next day. Very fast and courteous.

Took in my boyfriend’s third gen iPad for a cracked screen. They replaced the screen and had it looking like new in just a few days. And very reasonably priced for such an expensive piece. Really happy with the results and highly recommend them!

This is a 1^st for me. Shelling out 150.00 for a stupid mistake and still feeling happy about it. While biking the St. Tammany Trace on Thursday I dropped my phone on the concrete when loading my bike into the truck. I picked it up and sure enough the screen was shattered. I have had the phone all of 2 months. The phone still worked but unless I wanted bandaids on my fingertips or glass in my ear, I needed it fixed. Before any of you start in with «this is why you need an Otterbox». I know! I know! I have a girlfriend and she has told me, sent me links to various kinds, and gave me 400 «I told you so’s».
So I call around getting prices, check Unilocal for good places and call the Apple Store. The Apple store was a joke. They make you talk to a machine and put you on hold for an hour. Then tell you between 199.00−249.00 and make you schedule an appointment. No thanks! Since I was at work in Da Parish, I stopped by this place that says «we fix all phones». The guy says «no problem» have to you in 2 hours. He only wanted 110.00. That was 40.00 cheaper than all the other places. I thought Score! I come back 3 hours later and he yells «Not yet!» I asked when and he said «maybe 4 or maybe tomorrow». I demanded my phone back and noticed it is completeyl shattered now to where I cannot even see anything. The guys tells me I brought it to him like that. I taught him a few new words in the English language and left.
Anyway long story short don’t make the same mistakes I did. Call Fixit Tech or just go in. I called and the guy on the phone answered immediately and said they would have my phone ready in 30 – 45 minutes. I dropped my phone off at 3:30, went to Martin’s Wine Cellar and was back in 20 minutes. A different person asked if he could help me, I told him I was a little early and would just look at Otterboxes. He said «Well let me check… yep it’s done». Phone looked brand new and in 20 minutes! Unreal fast service!!! Very friendly and competitve prices. While I would say I will be back, I seriously I hope that I am not.

I’m quite impressed with these guys. I broke both the front and back glass on my iPhone (that was with an Otter cover in use!) and took it here to get them replaced. They only charged $ 119 which included both sides. That’s quite a bit cheaper than myPhoneMD. I dropped it off, went and ate lunch, went back about 45 minutes later and it was done and ready to go. Great service!

I’ve had my Lenovo Thinkpad over five years, and for the past five years any and all repairs have been through their service department under an accident protection warranty. Unfortunately that warranty ended in February of this year, and Lenovo requires an unreasonably hefty deposit for repairs without one. One week before my 15-​page literature review worth 30% of my grade was due, the fan quit and my computer wouldn’t turn on past an ominous blank screen with the words, «fan error.»
I read a few ads. I called the Computer Doctor and left a message. I waited an hour and then tried Fixit Tech Suite and they told me to bring it in.
The shop is clean and modern and open. There are OtterBoxes and a few iPhone accessories for sale in the lobby. I dropped off my computer with Garrett, who told me the worst case scenario would be 2 – 3 days and offered to pull my paper off the harddrive so I could continue to work on it. I declined because I work during the day and don’t have another computer at home. Garrett explained all of the costs, which were printed on flyers on the counter (see photo). I had to put down a $ 30 deposit towards the total. The total would be $ 99 plus $ 20 for expedited services, and extra if I wanted expedited shipping for any ordered parts. He said there might be a refurbished Lenovo fan somewhere in the office that would be cheaper, and that he would look for it. I didn’t have much of an option, so I paid the deposit and signed the paper and left. Two hours later Garrett called back. He’d opened the computer and found that the fan just needed cleaned, and the computer had shut down to protect itself from overheating.
I can’t even explain how VERY grateful I am. I’ve never been happier to pay $ 30 (they just kept the deposit) to get something cleaned! They could have easily told me I needed a new fan and charged me over $ 100, but they didn’t. I appreciated that they didn’t try to sell me anything, either. There’s something to be said for honest businessmen.
P. S. The Computer Doctor did finally call me back about the message I’d left… almost 28 hours later.
