Established in 2012.
I am a self taught hobby baker after ordering store-bought cakes that were disasters. The home bakery business started on July 30, 2012.
Thanks to the efforts of other Texas homebakers, SB81 TX Cottage Law was formed, and allowed the selling of certain baked products from home. This coming September 1, 2013, HB 970 will take effect, and allow more products to be sold by home bakers.
