History

Established in 1990.

We opened in Mesquite across Town East Boulevard from the mall next to the space that Schlotskys now occupies. At that time, we also had a practice at the corner of Oak Lawn and Lemmon in Dallas. It later became Lemmon Ave Eye Care. Our practice in mesquite, formerly: Lensmasters, is the private practice of Dr. Rodney Robertson. We call it Vision Source-​Mesquite. Dr. Rodney Robertson recieved his bachelor of science degree from the University of Houston in 1982. He was awarded a Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston college of Optomertry in 1986. Doctor Robertson is certified in the treatment of Glaucoma and other ocular eye diseases. He co-​manages with ocular surgeons to provide the highest level of care for Glaucoma, cataract, refractive and retinal surgery. He has a special emphasis of the treatment of dry eyes, diabetic retinal eye care, Glaucoma and contact lenses for: Gentle Cornea Molding, keratoconus, post corneal surgical patients, bifocal and high astigmatism. He resides in Heath with his wife and children.
