Skydive Mesquite

SKyive Mesquite is hands down the BEST!!! Went there for Valentines Day with the hubby. And the staff is just AMAZING. The lady who answers the phone is also so great. I called at 10am because I wasn’t sure Id be able to make my 3pm reservation (babysitter issues) and she asked me if I would like to reschedule. (no fee either). Thankfully I was able to make it to our 3pm.
Got there at 3:15pm: We got to watch a group skydive from the ground.
Got suited, and got a very short lesson (I thought the lesson would be longer but there really isn’t much to do when up there. Instructor does everything)
I was so so so nervous. I mean I was so sick to my stomach thinking sh** I’m really going to do this! My Instructors name was Dallas. He was an angel. If I had any other instructor I don’t know if I could have gone through with it. I was getting really terrified. Dallas kept me calm, made jokes and really loosened my nerves. I knew I was in good hands. Having a great instructor who communicates well is very very important I learned. Go see Dallas if your terrified.
While skydiving I dislocated my shoulder (Childhood problem NOT anyone’s fault). The wind just pushed my arm back a little too much. I have a weak socket. So if you have this problem let your instructor know then they will let you keep your arms in. I didn’t think it would be a problem so didn’t let them know and i had to pay the price. THankfully it popped back in in mid air.
My husbands instructors name was Joshua. But I believe they call him Cash. He was great as well. My husband wasn’t scared so his job was a little easier. Very cool guy.
We also got the video and pictures (200 plus photos). Worth every penny.

Amazing experience. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and they don’t pressure you what so ever. I jumped with Brian and he made the experience even better. I thought I would be freaking out the whole time but I was actually pretty calm thanks to how calm these guys were. Can’t wait to go out and jump again!

My friends booked two jumps through Groupon, and when they tried to confirm a date they had the worst time scheduling a date. They had to make 4 calls and each time, told something different about how to book. They kept getting referred to their online site, which does not guarantee they would be booked together; they even got a call ticket and never heard from anyone! They called them back to ask how to make sure they can book together, and again they took their phone number promising to call for confirmation, and no one did since yesterday, at that was TWICE! with different people This is not how you want to start your experience! We are very disappointed with their customer service; to be fair they were cordial and nice but very ineffective. The adventure itself might be awesome (they have not been able to go yet, still waiting for confirmation), but with the way they handle business, I will not recommend this place to anyone…

Skydiving was awesome! One of the coolest things I’ve done and I have done my share of thrill rides and extreme sports. DJ was pretty hilarious and made the prep enjoyable. We were in the first group at 9 so it was quick and will recommend all my friends. Thanks

Very awesome experience. Jumped with Brian. Was done with the whole thing in an hour and a half. Nothing bad to say. First time jumper and will do it again.

Definitely a great place! It was my birthday weekend and my roommate took me here for some adrenaline junkie fun. The staff was really friendly and made sure that you understood what you were getting into before participating. Of course you have to sign paperwork on the legalities but who wouldn’t? I’m terrified of heights but this place made me feel at ease.
The instructors and owner and very personable and chit chat about everything with you. Bring some food or drink with you though because depending on your appointment you may be waiting awhile and there aren’t really any options around that area.
You can have your experience videotaped or even just still pictures to your favorite tunes. I stuck my tongue out at my cameraman and was his first doing that, apparently.
You are in great hands if you come here though. More experienced? No problem! This place can also give you lessons and help you get your sky diving licensee. Just ask them about what you have todo and the prices! Happy diving!

Woo hoo! My husband and I went skydiving today. Honestly knowing next to nothing about skydiving we were both fairly nervous. Hey, can you blame us? We were jumping out of a plane!
Anyway, the owner Brad knows what he is doing. He makes the process seem really easy. For some reason it all flowed very well. The hangar there is where they take tandems and single skydivers. So this is an experience unlike other skydiving places that just churn out tandem after tandem skydive. We actually were able to watch people pack their own chutes and get ready to skydive solo.
I went first, Brad suited me up, explained to me everything that would happen. The process is actually quite simple: you’re falling out of a plane, basically. So, you know, don’t bother trying to hold on to things or do anything other than what you are told and you’ll be fine.
My jump was surreal. Mind blowing! After I went, we waited for some people to jump and then my husband went. It was cool to see him circling the air above me and be able to take pictures of him coming down.
Overall this was an A+ experience. If you are going to skydive around Las Vegas, do it here!

Life time dream to skydive — and I accomplished this last week at Skydive Mesquite. Brad was fantastic and set my mind at ease right away because I got to listen to him instructing a student about a jump he had just completed. You can tell right away Brad knows what he is doing. Brian recorded the video for us — and I could not imagine it going any better than it did. Thanks guys — and thanks to all the friendly, encouraging jumpers there that day. I might just decide to do this again now! Skydive Chicago, here I come!
