Pinehurst Place Mesquite Apartments

Over the 2 years we have been at Pinehurst Place/​Country Club, we have experienced issues with the management and maintenance crew, not to mention the quality of the other residents that live here. You always hear horror stories of the poor turnaround time that any apartment maintenance provides, but with Pinehurst Place, it is no joke. You can make multiple calls on the same issue and not only do you not receive any status updates or calls back as promised, the management also seems to act surprised every time you inform them of the ongoing issue. Water is ALWAYS an issue here; we have gone for days without either hot water, cold water, zero water pressure etc. The AC always fails as well and during the summer months the management still does not recognize that having no AC is an emergency, as it clearly states in the TAA contract. Even going over their heads and escalating these issues to the management company, Wesco, fails to resolve them. These apartment communities have completely gone downhill since our move-​in date. There is always some display of domestic violence in the parking lot at all hours, usually involving children. You can hear the domestic violence even behind closed doors as your neighbor beats his wife around. Calling the police only temporarily removes the problem, but the new tenants that move in every day are more obnoxious and more criminal. Ghetto gangster wannabes tag up the laundry facilities, and when it gets painted over, they start fires in the washing machines. They dryers don’t even work and haven’t been serviced since we moved in. When you go to the only other facility they have onsite, there’s a washing machine leak that flooded the floor. The apartment units themselves are set up nicely, though there are still cracks in the walls, the floors are uneven, the roof leaks every time it rains. Not to mention the neighbor’s chimney that fell over in light rain. I would not compromise basic essentials such as water and heating/​ac, or safety for that matter, for a cute apartment with airheads that run them.
