Guess what! They are advertising a new«snickerdoodle» donut! I pulled up to the drive thru to order and was told they didn’t have any made. Huh? Why is this sorry ass location always advertising things they don’t have? This is the sorriest excuse for a Krispy Kreme ever.

When the«Hot Now» light is on how can you not stop in and get a hot fresh donut. Service seems just like I remembered. We no longer have these in Houston so it is a treat being in Dallas and getting to enjoy their donuts. The line moved fast, the restrooms were clean and the staff was more than accommodating in helping me make up a mixed box of donuts to go. Best original glazed donut I’ve ever had. They also gave me a free right off the line donut as a sample while in line. Great customer service!

This was my first time going there. The service was good, everyone was actually very nice. Now to the reason for the 1star. The coffee I drank made me sick. I threw up and had awful diarrhea. I will never again drink coffee from there!

This is the worst Krispy Kreme I’ve ever been to. The staff is rude, the do not acknowledge you. The doughnuts are either old and the wrong shape. And then they are out of glaze the one thing they are known for. They need someone to come back and train them.

The staff here is totally clueless about their menu and their customer service is even worse! The girl running the cash register was openly arguing with customers and told lady to just deal with the coffee drink she’d made! In addition to the register she was responsible fir making all the drinks and didn’t get one right the whole time we were there. And while she was screwing up drink orders the line of customers waiting at the register kept getting longer — all while 5 other employees, INCLUDINGTHEMANAGER, stood around doing NOTHING!!! I won’t be back

Still sitting in line! We stopped because it was the first time to see the«hot donut» sign on. We have been in line for 20 minutes and I really doubt they are still hot and fresh. Lady at the window asked us if we had the«order» and it was completely wrong. She apologized and said sorry that they got really confused and had a mix up. Just came to the window after 5 minutes and said sorry for the wait, you have the 6 original glazed right? It will be just a few moments. To my surprise the donuts were warm. When you get to the drive up window, your about 3 feet from the drive up window because the curb protrudes so far from the business. This would be a nightmare if it were raining. Overall, drive to Greenville Avenue to get your donuts, they know what’s going on, stay away from this place if you’re in any kind of hurry.

Have been waiting to try this since they opened. Overall I’m not a fan of the brand — except when they are fresh! I have YET to see the light on at this location. Yesterday was my summer staff’s birthday and today is mine, so I decided to go for it — light or no light. Explain to me how an international brand with a location as new as this has broken equipment and can only make like 3 types of donuts right now? None of which are a basic glaze? Guess I know where I won’t be going for donuts…

I normally don’t write reviews, but this Krispy Kreme location is by far the worst that I have ever been to. I try to give everyone the benefit of a doubt, but I’ve been to this location 4 times and the service remains the same. The service is slow, the employees are untrained, they never have fresh product, they never have a large variety to choose from, and their customer service skills suck. I visited the location on the 10th of July to purchase 2 dozens –1 glaze and 1 lemon filled. The young ladies response was«we don’t got no lemon». I politely asked her how long will it take to make the lemon filled? She told me that it would take 20 minutes, so I told her that I would wait. Why would I wait? #1 I don’t live in Mesquite and I went there straight from work just to get the doughnuts. #2 I didn’t see what harm it could do to wait because I had already been waiting for over an hour. I ignored the fact that the young lady didn’t speak proper English, but when she returned to tell me that«we only got raspberry filled and we not gone make no more» my blood was boiling. Needless to say that I didn’t purchase any doughnuts. I will not return to this location again because I refuse to pay for something that I don’t want. I also refuse to spend my hard earned money in any facility that does not make customer service a main priority. I am a Carolina girl and I grew up on these doughnuts. These people are ruining Krispy Kreme’s reputation.

Being from Houston and everyone always talks about krespy kream donuts and I have to say I was pretty impressed. :) the only thing was that the staff looked unhappy and there were no good morning faces here so don’t expect a warm welcome from the staff. Also, the donuts were kinda on cold side and I personally have the expectation that the donuts were going to be warm since Shipleys never disappoint keeping their donuts on the warm side. But overall I would come back a second time hopefully next time there will be cheery faces and warm donuts. :)

Been here twice– I even gave them time to get better after they first opened. Slow service, wrong order, didn’t even take the order down the second time I went, kids mostly working I saw, saw exchange of donuts and drinks for food from a nearby restaurant. Not happy. I may give them a third try but not sure– both times the donuts were cold. Please try to improve!!!

I haven’t many issues coming here since they opened until today. Ok, the light was on so I was excited that I was getting HOT, fresh donuts. Why when I opened my bag did I discover three flat ass donuts. It was like they didn’t even get a chance to rise. I tasted one to see if it was even done and it tasted meh…

Under-trained staff, fossilizingly slow service, waiting times longer than digestion times, and a staff that wants to run you off at closing time. At least the donuts taste good. I waited in the drive-thru for 35 minutes to get a dozen donuts. We finally got to the menu board only to be told by an automated message that they were closed, over and over.(It was ten at night, and there were still lots of people trying to buy donuts). My dad yelled out the window at them and finally they answered. We ordered six chocolate iced and six glazed. We received five chocolate iced and seven glazed. The donuts were warm, at best, not hot like they advertise. By the time you get your donuts home, you’ve got to microwave them. Give them a few months, and maybe they’ll get better.

I was quite disappointed. Maybe I am just spoiled to the KK in Louisville KY. I have been here three times and the lines were so long I left, today nothing more to do so I went through the drive thru. It took about eight to ten minutes but they are making them as I wait. The wait wasn’t worth it. I don’t know if the oil was too low or old but they were greasy and soggy. I held up the donut and it just limped over. I know they are new, but not a good start. I say wait a month and then try.

Tried it a week after it opened. Wasn’t a good experience at all. No glazed donuts at all. So I tried it again this morning… And was told I couldn’t get glazed because they were«cold». I don’t understand why they never have donuts.

This was the first time I had a Krispy Kreme donut and usually go to Shipley’s but I wanted to know what the hoopla was all about. Those were by far the worst donuts my son and I ever had. I thought part of the appeal was the donuts were supposed to be hot and creative. The donuts were cold, tasted old, and the selection really lacked variety. The service was good but the food was terrible. My six year old son didn’t finish one. I’m talking about a child not wanting a donut. Sorry KK, you really missed the mark. –Jay

Don’t waste your time. Got up early went in at 7:00 am. Waited thirty min in line for cold donuts I could have gotten from any donuts shop(the sign says hot donuts). Long lines, untrained staff, they close early(stand in parking lot and wave off customers) this was the night before. Overpriced, no lids for drinks, don’t fall for the hype. This isn’t the Krispy Kreme you remember. Its a commercialized Krispy Kreme trying to cash in on the name. I won’t be back.
