Dear management, I am currently writing this while trying to eat the breakfast presented to me as a customer of your establishment. I wouldn’t feel the need to write this if I wasnt grossly disappointed. The employee you have tending to the breakfast is stealing your time. Short list of items in need of attention-the garbage has flies, food is left in the toaster, food rotting under mini fridge, hard boiled eggs are sitting in dirty milky water, coffee counter has sugar spilled on it, empty tables have not been turned over and none of the poorly prepared food has been turned in what looks like an hour. Do your basic responsibility and use the reflective surfaces on the doors to witness your employee doing nothing but playing with their phones. She has costed you my business and I feel sorry that you dont check on this yourself.

This hotel is in dire need of an upgrade. Everything is outdated except for the carpet in some of the areas. The indoor pool looks nice but it was closed and had an «out of order» sign on the doors. This was kind of a disappointment as it is the reason we picked this hotel over others in the area. Fair warning do not get a room that faces the parking lot and freeway. The windows and insulation are horrible and you hear every single car pass on the highway or ever car door close and alarm being turned on. They really should provide earplugs for people staying on this side of the hotel. I do not know if the back side is any quieter. Noise between rooms is very little. I never heard any neighbors coming or going The heater in the room didn’t work but that wasn’t a problem for me as I like it cold. The units need to be upgraded so there was not a thermostat to see what temperature the room was at but I’d guess in the 60’s. The complimentary breakfast buffet is as to be expected and mirrors those of other Holiday Inn Expresses. All the items were always stocked and hot; even up to 9:30 when they close it, so this was pleasing. I noticed here they had two types of sausage pork or turkey which I haven’t seen at other locations. The breakfast made up for the bad nights sleep of hearing all the outside noise. Stayed another night and was woke up at 8am by a commercial carpet cleaning company hitting my door with the wet vac. I guess in hindsight at least I know they have a carpet cleaning company that comes in. Breakfast buffet was a little different this morning. Instead of scrambled eggs they had cheese omelets which were actually quite good. It was more like queso and salsa in them and they had sausage and bacon instead of two types of sausage.

We had a great stay this weekend. The place looked good and the breakfast was great. Really enjoyed the pool before we left too.

This place needs updating. AC unit is old and noisy. Shower curtain rod was about to fall off. The TV remote doesn’t work if more than 2 feet away from TV. Black stains on bed sheet. List goes on and on… The only good part about this place is the lady at the front! She is extremely nice and helpful.
