Chi’s Wok

It is by far the best chinese food in Mesquite. That said, I really wish that their «spicy» foods were actually spicy. Never been to the location to eat but it is nice to have it delivered.

The curry chicken rocked! Best egg roll I’ve had in a while and they could actually find my apartment unlike other delivery places lol food was piping hot and tasted awesome!

Food is decent and fast. I have noticed that sometimes the items are not consistent. I love beef lo mein, but the past few times I’ve ordered it, it’s been either a hit or miss and never quite taste the same. The lady at the counter is super friendly but always seems to forget to add the small packs of fried noodle I pay for to add to my take out orders. So some days the food is great and other days it’s just okay.

Anyone trying this place out try the combination mei fun it’s so good. This the only place I go to when I was living in mesquite and I still go by there when I’m in the area. Love this place and the staff is so nice

OMG… Horrible. I am kicking myself because I read the reviews before I went into this place. I really didn’t care about the outdated interior of the place, I care about the food. It was hot inside and there were a few flies. Turned off immediately. My order was hot, so I was thinking thats good. My food was very bland, I mean no taste at all. My fried rice was a colored rice in oil and scrambled eggs. I threw that away right away. The chicken was not good at all. I seasoned my food so much just to get a bit of taste. Ten bucks gone. What a waste!!. I will drive miles to China if I could now, for better Chinese food. Mesquite needs to step it up. This is just ridiculous.

Was craving Chinese food and am glad we found this place! Based on the not-​so-​great look and feel of the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the good taste of the food! We got: shrimp with lobster sauce, sesame chicken, and pork egg foo young and were each happy with our choices. While my sesame chicken wasn’t crunchy (like it usually is at other places — probably because it sat while waiting for steamed rice to finish cooking), the flavor was quite good, and the chicken was not overcooked or anything. Just did take-​out. Would get food there again.

Got the combination fried rice and it was pretty average. Had better from other places. It was quick and they did put allot of meat with the rice.

This place is really tasty and reasonably priced. They always remember our names, and even what we order. Friendly service and good food! One of our favorite Chinese places, and definitely our favorite in Mesquite!

I have worked across the street from this place for going on 4 years now and finally gave them a try.
Taste is not to shabby. Neither to bland or full of flavor as other reviewers have said.
Portions are what is expected at a Chinese fast food place.
Not impressed at all with the décor. Really old and needs updating.
I ordered a combination fried rice. I figure «thats simple enough, you should not be able to mess it up» and I was right. I got so much meat, chicken and shrimp that it was unreal. Im usually left with a bunch of left over rice but not today.

This place is not bad. Since new management about 4 years ago, the food is. Just different and not to my liking. But eh are always very nice when I do decide to go there

Tried Chi’s Wok for the first time this evening and so far, I’m fairly unimpressed. I did appreciate the friendly service and the restaurant smelled really good, however, my crab Rangoon did not come with sweet and sour sauce and had no trace of crab in them. The shrimp in the Lo Mein were not jumbo as other reviewers and their menu promises; they are medium at best, however the flavor and portions were good. I’ll give them another try in the future.

We love Chi’s Wok! We’ve been going there for over 9 years!!! It’s the best!!! Food is always on point. Hot and fresh and ready to eat when we have it delivered. Even my little ones love the sesame chicken so much that they ask for it :) I definitely recommend Chi’s

I had the sesame chicken. It was somewhat edible when you add soy sauce, but the flavor was weak and the chicken was very chewy.

Another icy day in the Dallas area and Chi’s delivered quickly for lunch.
Food was ok; however the fried rice is not so good. It is greasy.
Loved the egg drop soup — sesame chicken was ok — fried rice and shrimp fried rice just not what I was seeking…

I own the business in the same strip as Chi Wok and must show my neighbor some love. They are always my default spot when I am wondering what I should eat for lunch. Their service is excellent and the portion are ridiculously large. I was never able to finish my food, but never hesitant to eat again in a few hours. My 2 favorite would have to be the sesame chicken or the Mongolian shrimp. The flavor are always consistent, food always fresh, and prices are hard beat.

I have been looking for good solid Chinese delivery near my office in Mesquite since August. Hallelujah! My search is now over!
Chi’s Wok delvery was fast and the food was hot! Not just warm — more like I was at the resturant and they brought it straight to my table — hot. It is hard to find delivery that is hot when it arrives. Chi’s has it.
I ordered the Mongolian Beef and the Hot and Sour Soup. Neither disappointed. The portions are large, so I have lunch for tomorrow, as well. (It was hard to stop eating because it was so good, though.)
Try Chi’s. You will not be disappointed. Much better than your other options in Mesquite for sure!

Very good portion size. My daughter loves the shrimp fried rice which actually has nice size shrimp. My hubby and I like the fact that the veggies in entrees are crisp and not overcooked. They are friendly both in person and over the phone. Delivery is fast and accurate and the prices are reasonable.

The Wife and I have been going here since the early 90’s!!! The food is Great! The Prices reasonable and THEY DELIVER!!! at one point we had 5 kid’s in the house plus us. We could feed EVERYONE with 4 orders and I would have left overs for lunch! It is a tiny hole in the wall place but great!!!
IF YOU” RE HUNGRY FOR CHINESE FOOD AND WANT GREAT TASTE AND A GREAT PRICE YOU GOT TO GO!!!

The lunch menu is great. Food doesn’t take that long to make. Price is very reasonable.

Let’s be honest… This place is not PF Changs. However, if you’re looking for something more authentic, tasty, and cheaper than Panda Express then Chi’s Wok fits the bill.
This place is in a strip mall. I’ve been coming here for years with my family but I’m not sure how we found the place. It must be good because I’ve seen the Dallas mayor in here…
The best part about this place is the serving sizes. Most plates come in either small or large. I eat a lot and even these portions are too much. My friends and family usually share. I suggest two ppl sharing a small and three sharing a large.
Price? A small is about 4.50 and a large is 5.99. For real.
The best thing to do is get two smalls and share with a friend so you can get a variety.
I love their hot and sour soup. It’s richer and thicker than most you usually encounter.
