Possibly the best food in mesquite! Super authentic, fresh, and delicious. They bring you these really tasty chips covered in a mild warm salsa and sprinkled with cotija cheese to start. We had pupusas and they were fantastic. Service was amazing and atmosphere was great. They have like 4 tvs all running different sports channels as well. We’ll be back to this place for sure.

Excellent food and service. You can tell everything was made to order. Tamales and taquitos were our favorite. We’ll stop again on our next trip through Mesquite ;-)

Staying in Mesquite a few days and not a large selection when it comes to restaurants outside the resorts. Found this place on Unilocal and was a little hesitant because of so few reviews. Found out the restaurant just opened in August 2015. Now for the food. We had the chili relleno, pepian their signature dish Guatemala’s national stew. It was all very flavorable. The appetizers were very tasty and the prices were really good. Try the Paches which is a mashed potato tamale. The Garnachas were excellent. With each entrée you get a free Margherita. All this food and the bill was only $ 31.00. What a steal for such a good meal. The service was excellent. Will definitely come back when in Mesquite.

As we were driving down I 15 late at night we were worried we wouldn’t find a decent place to eat when we stumbled on this quaint Latin American restaurant… We immediately felt welcomed by the karaōke and the friendly waitress. We loved our food and even walked away with a door prize!

Found this Gem on a road trip and cant wait to stop here again! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very friendly. They had free first margaritas and fun live music… Great job guys! We tried the Chille Relleno, carne asada, and pollo con crème and all were delicious… Best was the Chille Relleno tho :)

Wonderful food and the staff are brilliant. The array of offerings add greatness to this place. Caters to all diets and beautifully decorated. The food is served promptly and offers true Central American cuisine.

We live in St. George, about 45 min. away. Made the trip just to try this place. We shared the mixta ceviche and the speciality chicken stew. Fantastic! Drinks were good, too. Enjoyed talking to the servers. We will definitely be back. Already recommended the place to friends in St. George.

We visited after a round of golf on Saturday and when we walked in, were the only customers in the restaurant. Margaritas to start were weak, and tasted like they were a mix. Chips with salsa and cheese were tasty. I ordered a handful of appetizers as my meal. Potato tamale was runny but flavorful. Not quite a tamale as I would expect. Crispy tostadas were great but best to share as they were fried and heavy. Pupusas(?sp?) were also fried and very heavy, but very tasty. We got a liter of Famosa beer as well — great taste and good value! My husband tried to modify his order but they couldn’t accommodate, he ended up ordering a chicken Caesar salad which was good but definitely not Guatemalan. Cost was fair, food was pretty good. Hope they improve on service and some flexibility with the limited menu. Would be much improved with some healthier options and better descriptions from menu and staff.

The food is delicious, service is excellent and I came across a problem where I accidentally ordered a meat dish when I’m vegetarian and they were more than happy to refund it. I highly recommend this place.

Four of us had dinner there and it was a terrible experience. First of all we had three different things that we ordered and none were available. It wasn’t that they were out of them they just didn’t make them that day. The food was very slow in coming and when it did it wasn’t even tasty. Two had a chicken stew like dish and there was a back and a leg in it. It had flavor but nothing special. Two had a pork dish and a beef dish. It was so dried out it was tasteless and tough. Even though they weren’t busy no one ever offered us more drinks or water and the plates were never cleared even though we shared a dessert that no one liked. So disappointing. Always we will give a place a couple of tries but this was such an overall bad experience we are not going back. According to other reviews maybe there are good days and bad but for how expensive it was we aren’t willing to try it again. Even the margaritas were not good

I was traveling thru mesquite on business. When asking about a good place to eat, I was told to try this new place called Antigua Bohemia. I am adventurous so I figured I would give it a shot. It was a bit tucked away but worth looking for… I promise! They are very friendly, the prices are great and the atmosphere is just right. I wish I had put to memory or written down the dishes that I had but I am not so good at remembering foreign food names… all I can say is it was incredible. I was expecting a Mexican type dinning experience but Guatemalan food is soooo much more. I had no idea what that part of the world ate, I was very pleasantly surprised! I loved the chips they serve when you first sit down because they come with a really good sauce with a type of cheese on top that is perfect… I do not know what the cheese was. I can say that a taco is different than a Mexican taco but crazy good and an enchilada is different than a Mexican enchilada. It was equally awesome. All the sauces were rich and savory, the meats were juicy and delicious too. Oh yea, I never thought about using Unilocal.I am not a foody or a person that goes out of their way to find a place to eat unless really highly recommended like Antigua Bohemia, but I like this place so much I opened a Unilocal account so other people can learn about and find this place. I promise it is worth it!

We really liked this new restaurant! It isn’t a traditional Mexican restaurant, something Mesquite is already saturated with, so don’t expect run-of-the-mill tacos, enchiladas or burritos. The Guatemalan-type food is something we’d never experienced, and although we were initially afraid of the unfamiliar items on the menu, we were very pleasantly surprised with the appetizer items we ordered.(The full menu wasn’t available during our visit, but no worries — it’s a new place, after all.) Our meal began with complimentary chips/salsa in a basket, and they were something different — chips with a tomato sauce and cheese — but they were quite tasty. My husband ordered bean & cheese Pupusas, which came with a tasty bowl of sauce and a bowl of spicy slaw, and they were quite good. Staying on the safer side, I ordered Rellenitos, which were basically tasty guacamole tostadas, and they were absolutely delicious! The owner was especially friendly and accommodating, as was our waitress, who was an informative, friendly bartender doing an awesome job filling in. We will definitely be back and we look forward to trying other things on the menu. It’s an adventure in dining to step outside your comfort zone and try something new and we are lucky to have such an opportunity in a small town. Let’s support this new business owner!
