Thrifty is Nifty is a local and family owned and operated business. You can find great prices and great selections on new and used items in our store and we are happy to answer any questions you have. You can rest assured that all clothing that comes into our stores (unless new) is washed before it hits the racks. All toys or other items requiring batteries or a power cord are tested, and we are happy to re-​test them for you. We have everything from antiques to Zebra toys. We have recently finished our expansion and now house furniture in suite 8! We look forward to seeing you in our store!

History

Established in 2012.

In 2012, my husband and I decided that we were tired of shopping in low quality, dirty thrift stores. We took everything we had and pooled in from our families to build a thrift store that we would want to shop at. We began putting everything together in August of 2012, getting opinions about what people loved and hated about thrift stores, and building what is the store that you see today. We got our property in September and had some delays but finally got our doors open, thanks a ton to the help of our family, in December of 2012. We had originally started with the idea that we would not carry furniture, but after some thought, we expanded our store an additional 1500 sq ft, to house our furniture and very soon our appliances (June 2013). It has been a scary and rewarding experience opening this store and we are learning new things from our customers everyday! Thank you to everyone in the community that has helped build our business, and helped support my family!
