The Lock Shop

So impressed! We called The Lock Shop to come change locks on our new home. We selected them based on Unilocal reviews — so I wanted to come back and let you know that they really are as good as everyone says they are!
From our first contact, we have been impressed. The woman answering the phones was prompt, friendly and helpful.
We had 11 interior locks and 3 gates that needed rekeying. Jeff arrived on time and his bright and friendly personality was a welcomed sight during the stress of moving. He had some great ideas that saved us from having to carry around a set of keys that would put a janitor to shame. A master key that unlocks everything and then separate gate only keys for the yard/​pool companies. Genius!
He had knowledge about the knobs/​locks we have on the house that was helpful information for us to have.
He worked quickly and efficiently and their prices were great!
They are our new go-​to for all of our locksmith needs — HIGHLY Recommended!

this is a top notch business from this xperience. jeff, the technician was on time, courteous, conversational. he was open to options to resolve the situation. we’re glad we took his suggestion to replace the door knob as the old knob spring was all but sprung! apparently we xplained our problem well on the phone to set up the appointment, as the price was xactly as quoted. this is a very straightforward business based on this xperience. highly recommended

LOVE this place!
After taking my new Ford Explorer to the dealership to have the oil changed, a strange «My Key» feature started working on my car (which causes the car radio to turn off unless your seatbelt is on, and won’t let the vehicle go over 80 mph — which stinks when you are trying to pass someone on the freeway). I called the dealership to ask them how to get rid of this feature and they told me that I would need a second key (which we lost right after buying the vehicle) and new reprogramming, at a cost of around $ 200.00. NO WAY was I paying $ 200! So I went on Amazon and found a new key blank for $ 20.00 (instead of $ 110 at the dealership) and then shopped around for a locksmith to cut and program it.
The Lock Shop was by far the cheapest of all the people I called. They charged around $ 5 to cut the key for me and about $ 50 to reprogram my original key and the new one. So they programmed TWO keys and I got it all for about ¹⁄₃ the price the dealership quoted me.
Taylor was very friendly and got the job done quickly. I think I was there for a total of 30 minutes. (The dealership told me it would take one hour to program — to justify their high cost, I guess.)
I will definitely be using The Lock Shop again — THANK YOU!!!

Fast, friendly, and a great price. I had a Thule attachment locked onto the roof of my van. (Lost the keys:() Other locksmiths said i would have to contact the manufacturer. Ugh! Not «The Lock Shop» they had it done in minutes. Kudos.

What a relief to find a locksmith whom I can trust the security of my home too. I will go out of my way to recommend this shop to everyone I know. I will be keeping this business magnet on my refrigerator for future use. Perhaps Jeff could run a workshop on how to run a business with cult followers.

They quoted me a 30 – 45 minute wait time but the Locksmith arrived even sooner than that. I think it was only about 20 minutes. Jody was fast & friendly and he went above & beyond just helping me with being locked out, he also helped me with a domestic issue that occurred while he was there. Besides being a great locksmith, Jody ended up also being a life saver. Forever grateful for good people who do the right thing even when it involves a complete stranger. I would definitely recommend using this company.

Had a strange issue with a remote I bought on eBay with one button not working, they did some investigative work and found out that my car was sold as a 2003 but is in fact effectively a 2002 so I unknowingly bought the wrong remote. They went above and beyond to help me figure out my key woes. I highly recommend these guys. Oh and they also cut and programmed my key perfectly. Top notch!

We’ve used The Lock Shop twice for rekeying and deadbolt replacement and had overall positive experiences. The techs are very friendly. There was confusion with one of the techs this last visit and Kathy, office manager, was super helpful and took care of us. We will definitely call them next time with any lock needs with either of our houses.

Update: Needed to have five locks rekeyed. Because I had experienced great service from Jeff at The Lock Shop this past summer, wanted to give them repeat business.
Dropped over to see the folks over @ The Lock Shop and spoke to Cathy and Taylor. They were able to get me scheduled the same day which was great! Jody was the tech who came over and did a great job. Professional, friendly, family owned, and reasonable. The closest real locksmith with a shop/​store and not just a mobile service to my home in Queen Creek, they cut new keys for my Corvette quickly and accurately.

Not too friendly but quick and to the point. Who needs a friendly locksmith anyways? Got the job done and that’s all that matters. Will definitely come back if I ever need more help.

My friend lost her Toyota Camry key and searched about 8 hours for it. I placed a call to The Lock Shop and when they showed up had the car running within 45 minutes.
He was courteous & professional AND I highly recommend them.

They were terrific! Answered the phone when I called. They were very pleasant. They arrived during the time frame they gave. They completed the work quickly! There were no hidden charges and they made sure I was completely satisfied with everything! I highly recommend them!!!

I e-​mailed Jeff at the lock shop, I had two Dodge key with the fob attached needing to be cut and programed. Jeff quoted me a very fair price for both keys to be cut and programed. The local Dodge dealer wanted about 20 dollars more. Jeff even gives a Military discount of 10%. Jeff’s wife and daughter completed the cutting and programing of both keys within 15 minute with an out the door price that I could take my wife out to dinner with the savings.
I did call one other key shop ACME I think it is called wanted 2 dollars per side to cut plus the programing. They wanted more then the Dodge dealer wanted.
Jeff is a very fair person and his family provided a great service.

These guys are awesome, came out same day to rekey all our office locks. They made us several copies and made sure they all worked. Very professional family owned business and I just loved their customer service. They really go out of their way. We screwed up and my assistant left the wrong key for me and when I called at 5 am they were ready to help me out. Couldn’t believe they answered that early so they handle emergencies. HIGHLY RECOMMEND theses guys.
