The Garage Rock Academy is the place where rock and roll dreams come true, transforming absolute beginners into accomplished rock musicians!

Whether you’re brand new to guitar or an intermediate guitar player, we have one goal in mind for our music students — to get them playing! The most rapid advancement on any instrument will occur when a student is playing with other band members in a live setting. Our workshop-​type classes bring together like-​minded students to learn together in a relaxed and supportive environment. The Garage Rock Academy offers 12-​week courses for guitar, bass, drums, keys, or vocals that are well-​designed for kids! We are Arizona’s original rock music academy and have recently moved to an incredible new 4,000 square foot facility where musicians can turn it up to 11 and even record their music in the Garage Studio. Our pricing is comparable to private lessons but you’ll soon see that The Garage Rock Academy offers so much more bang for your buck and support for your rock star.

We’re here to help kids from 10 years old to 100 years old learn how to play live and perform at local venues in front of hundreds of their adoring fans. History

Established in 2010.

The Garage Rock acemy started in June 2010 as a gleam in its founder’s eye. It started small as a part-​time side venture while he continued to work a full-​time job but has since become a full-​time venture. The success of the school itself as well as the exuberance of the rock stars it is producing simply cannot be denied! We look forward to many more years of helping young musicians make their rock and roll dreams come true.

Eric has a lifetime of playing, performing and instructing on a variety of instruments behind him. His passion for music is only surpassed by his creativity and ability to engage kids and adults with his patient, caring teaching style. The Garage Rock Academy is producing dozens of new rock stars with fresh performance experience monthly due to the vision Eric has brought to the Phoenix Valley with his unique take on what a music school should be all about.
