I purchased two standard sized shade sails plus hardware. While waiting for the sails, my husband changed our arbor design so it no longer required the hardware. The order arrived and the sails were top quality. When I called to arrange a return of the unopened hardware(not cheap stuff), I was told that they do not accept returns. This was their standard product! Why would they not accept a return of brand new merchandise? Lesson learned. Read the small print and make sure that you need everything you’re ordering. They obviously don’t care about repeat business! Too bad, Tenshon. We planned to use three of your sails in our next project!

They do not take exchanges! When I called and asked about an exchange I was told the most they could do is give me 10% off my next purchase. I asked if their web site states there are no exchanges or refunds. I was told it is listed at #13 under conditions. *This is the first time I have purchased an item on-line with this policy. Perhaps they could put it on their order page, and not just in the middle of a small font Terms and Conditions.

I had questions on the product and its logistics as well as feasibility with my particular project. Their website provides a drop box for general inquiries. I received an almost immediate response from an employee who showed their experience with the material and the systems. I plan on moving forward with my project in the near future and will definitely be using Tenshon as the manufacturer.

I purchased a custom Sail Shade from Tenshon and I received two Shades that were manufactured to the wrong specifications. The 3rd shade I received has a seam that was not communicated and the stitching went from dark(black) to a contrasting white. Buyers beware: Poor customer service and quality.
