History

Established in 1998.

In 1997 Lorenzo Zesati was laid off from his tech support position and decided to start his own IT consulting company with only $ 3000 to his name. He went out and purchased a new printer, laptop and some printing paper. Through some homemade ads and flyers he got his first official appointment through his CompuEnterprises Company on January 1998. On his first appoint Lorenzo only made $ 75 but was happy to have earned his first dollar on his own. CompuEnterprises grew very rapidly, mostly servicing the East Bay area and to this day it continues to grow. Like technology everything changes fast; so Lorenzo decided that a newer hipper name was needed. So after 13 years, CompuEnterprises is changing its name to TekkieTeks.
