Established in 2002.

With over a quarter centrury of HVAC experience, President Mike Pickard saw the industry shift from a service industry to a sales industry. Technicians were placed on commission and consumers were now paying hundreds of dollars each service call on many needless «upsells.» So he started Ocean Air with the idea of being a true service company. Technicians will never be paid commissions on parts so the customer will never buy parts they don’t need. This service has helped grow Ocean Air to where it is today, one of the most trusted names in HVAC.

Business Owner

Mike Pickard is a Mesa resident and graduate of westwood High School. After high school, he worked at his father’s air conditioning business in southern California while he studied the trade at Orange Coast College. He soon moved back to Arizona to be near his brother and sisters and started ocean Air in 2002. Ocean Air has been a member od the Mesa Chamber of Commerce for many years, and Mike currently is a member of the Board of Directors. Mike is married to Kim Pickard and they have 2 children in grade school.
