NextCare Urgent Care

I really don’t like to come to a place like this but when it has to, I appreciate their professional service.
My baby got hit by a hard baseball earlier, she cried but I pushed her back to the game. After we got home, she fell asleep right away, feeling uneasy, felt something wasn’t right, I looked up on google for broken thumb image. My heart started pounding so hard when image I saw online was almost identical as my baby.
I looked up online for urgent care and started calling to see if they have x-​ray available and operational on that day. This one finally said yes and they made an appointment over the phone.
Driving 30 mins seemed forever, feeling guilty for putting my baby through this pains, trying to stay calm, trying to make her laugh, I was smiling on surface but crying inside.
When we finally arrived, I received a text message that they were available and we were inside the exam room right away. Receptionist was very nice and professional. They understood how nervous I was behind my smiles.
Both Nurse practitioner and x-​ray technician were very friendly and professional as well. Explained to us in the way we can understand, when my baby got scared and started crying, she really took time to help her understand the procedure.
When we finally finished, one of the staff said to pick one from their treasure box. Picking something from a treasure box really took her mind off from the pain.
24 hours later, my baby is doing so much better. Still in pains but on her way to recovery thanks to the nice staff here.

I’m new to the area and was nervous seeing a new doctor. From the moment of checking in to the moment checking out everyone was professional, kind and patient. They were thorough and comforting and took time to answer all my questions. I’m so thankful I found this office.

I recently went in very miserable. I barely was able to give them my scrawled ins info and ID, they had me sit and gave me basin and mask. I was somewhat out of it but I do know they were so very kind. The front desk girls were sweet and even printed out my ins info for me to have. Aliyah? I believe was super nice and listened to me drone on when she took me back. The male that gave me shots and chest xray was also super awesome (sorry didn’t catch name!) Dr. Nicole Kratochvil was also great and listened. I will def come back here, I already have recommended it to multiple people. Also a few days later I realized my albuterol was expired and had initially declined prescription from the Dr thinking it was still good, I ended up calling and spoke to an 1800 # and they passed my message and called in the prescription to CVS! I am so happy with this place, also I was able to check in from home so my wait time when I went was minimal-​maybe 20min? Thank you NextCare, keep up the good work. :)

I love this place! My family doctor sends me here whenever I can’t get an appointment with them, but now i started to just come here instead because I get in and out quickly, and the staff is always so friendly and professional. I love that I can check in from home on my laptop, and then they text me when it’s time to come in. Why would anyone want to sit in a waiting room with a bunch of coughing and sneezing people, when I can be laying on my couch watching TV? I also love that they care enough to call and check on me a couple days later. Most places nowadays don’t care about people like that. They are treated as customers and not patients. I was seeing my family doctor for a while about my painful and pitted tongue. He couldn’t figure out what was wrong, but I came here last week, and saw the doctor, and she diagnosed me instantly, sent in a prescription for me, and I am already healed. Thank you Nextcare!!!

this NextCare team is the best, they are always so very nice. I want to thank Darcy, Aleisha, Bronte Scott, both Nicole K and Nicole G, Anna and last but certainly not least Madeline for being there when we cut our finger or just simply need bandaids. they are our personal first aid team and we are grateful they are here! keep up the good work!

4mo after my terrible experience with NextCare… And still suffering in pain, decided to seek treatment at a local ER where an MRI found significant cervical stenosis! At least now 4mo later I have an answer to the cause of the pain. And a surgery date to fix the problem! Two thumbs down NextCare!

We made an «appointment» on line and we’ve been waiting an hour and a half and have not seen the doctor. I do not see the point of appointments if I’m waiting as long as I would if I walked in.

I signed up ahead online and they called me quickly after. Once I got there I waited maximum ten minutes. Great costumer service and clean environment.

A waste of time and money! I went in December because I was ill and not sure what was wrong. I had a fever and couldn’t get warm. I was seen at urgent care and told I had a temperature of 102, had a dangerous amount of protein in my urine, and a urinary tract infection. I was seen by the PA on staff at the time and given a prescription for antibiotics.
I went to my own dr the next day. I did not have a UTI, the protein in my urine was a little elevated. I was swabbed for the flu, which I didn’t have but told I probably had one of the many viruses going around. So next time, I will wait and see my own physician. As a woman, we know if we have a UTI! There is no doubt.
This was not the first time we have been disappointed by this facility. Several months ago my husband lacerated his hand. Urgent Care stitched his hand and the medical assistant wrapped my husband’s hand up. She did such a poor job, my husband had to show her how to do it properly.
We won’t be returning. We feel the staff here is inexperienced and needs additional training. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

I give one (extra) star for the receptionists and the relatively short time I had to wait because of the ability to «call in ahead», but the subsequent visit was ridicules.
For one thing, I specifically asked for a guy doctor because of the issue and the person they sent in was a woman AND a nurse practitioner who than proceeded to not listen to anything I had to say (or at least wasn’t interested in the least).
Then what she ended up prescribing me was the equivalent of going to the emergency room for 2^nd and some 3^rd degree sun burns and getting prescribed a jar of aloe.
Sad part is is that I had to make a second appoint for the next morning just to take care of what should have been taken care of on this visit.

Probably the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m currently sitting in a room. I got my bp and o2 sat checked about an hour ago. The MA said a doctor would be in here in a few minutes. It’s been a damn hour. Not to mention the hour and a half I waited in the waiting room… I was also the only patient in there. I never write nasty reviews but this experience is the worst I’ve ever had… I have to control my emotions greatly right now to refrain from cussing on here, and raising my voice at one of these snobby receptionists. I get maybe I could’ve checked in before I came… But still, I’ve done that in the past and STILL had to wait about an hour to be seen. The fact that I’m sick with what I think is laryngitis/tonsillitis…it’s not helping. So please, there’s a lot of awesome FastMeds in town. On power and superstition there’s an amazing one. I was in and out in 10 min for a drug test. To hell with next care. If there was an option to give negative stars, I would. It’s a disgrace. Rude people, awful service, long wait times. If you have an entire day to blow waiting to be seen, then by all means come here. That is, if you also like rude people. Save your time and go somewhere else. Please and thank you.

I really appreciate the option for me to check in while I am at home. Nothing is worse than waiting for hours when you are so sick. The staff here was nice, professional, and quick to help me. I will be using this Urgent Care instead of FastMed whom I will never visit again. They also have eprescribing which makes getting the rx much faster.

Horrible. One star is too many. My 3 year old was sick. I checked in online at 7:13am. I received a call back at 7:15 and they said they don’t make appointments for the first hour and to just show up at 8. I showed up at 8:05 and I sat there for 30 minutes. From the moment I walked in they were calling people and making appointments, the first one for 8:30. Having not even been spoken to since I signed in, after 30 minutes I finally went up and inquired about what was going on. She said unless I’m in the system she can’t help me. I showed her the email checkin I received at 7:13 and the phone call I received from them at 7:15 in my phone history. She said she couldn’t help me and the best she could do was sign me in then so I could leave and come back in two hours because there were already that many ahead of me. She wasn’t sympathetic or understanding at all. I woke my daughter up after a really rough night to rush her there and ensure I would be there by 8 only to be told to come back 2 hours later because I wasn’t in the system. Clearly no one there cares about the health of others. If you don’t want to do your job, find a new one. The health field is not a place to work if your only goal is to earn a paycheck. I don’t understand why my 3 year old is being punished because some lazy person didn’t want to check her in the first time I called. Needless to say, I went down the street to FastMed where I was greeted promptly and nicely and my daughter was seen quickly. At least some people still care in this world.

This urgent care was clean and quick! The ladies at the front were nice and were efficient. The nurse I had was great, called me sweetie, and I felt understood and cared for. The provider was great! Explained exactly what was going on with my symptoms, hooked me up with a breathing treatment and an injection to kick my asthma problems! I would go back in a heart beat. Reason for 4 stars: price!!!

Saturday my little one was super sick, too sick to wait for the Doctor’s office on Monday. We headed to NextCare Urgent care and walked in 20 minutes before closing. There were a few people in the waiting room and the person up front said they only had one doctor on staff and it could be an hour wait. I chose to wait, gave him our information and to my surprise we were back in a room in less than 15 minutes. Everyone was friendly, took great care of my little one, and got us out the door in no time. They even sent the prescriptions ahead to the Pharmacy of my choice so all I had to do was get there and pick them up without waiting. We don’t plan on becoming regulars, it’s not my type of place to frequent but it’s nice to know when you need to go you’ll be treated well. My little one is on the road to recovery, thanks NextCare!
