Plastic frames, metal frames, and titanium frames can usually be repaired with little to no change to the overall appearance of the frame, and our expertly trained technicians will ensure that your vision is just as good with your glasses when the repair is complete as it was before your glasses broke.

After having worked for an eyeglass repair company in Houston, TX, Manny and his family moved to AZ to make a fresh start. He enjoyed repairing glasses, and had developed many skills over the years, but didn’t like charging the high fees his previous employer charged, and had a strong desire to be in business for himself; so he created M&M Mobile Eyeglass Repair. The «M&M» was chosen for a way to do easy, creative marketing. Then, in 2005, Manny met Matthew working at a private optical as he was preparing to go into business on his own running a mobile optical shop. Manny and Matthew, ironically forming the M&M, decided to team up and offer expanded services to the valley. By remaining mobile, they have been able to keep their prices low and their level of service high.

Having worked in the optical field for over 14 years, and holding an AZ State License for Dispensing Opticians for the last 9 years, Matthew is well versed in the many facets of optics. From retail sales, lab fabrication of lenses, general surgery, LASIK, chain stores and private opticals, and teaching aspiring opticians, there isn’t much that he hasn’t seen or done related to eyeglasses. A husband of a supportive wife and father of a wonderful son, being self employed gives Matthew more time to spend with his family and do the things he loves in life. His choice of footwear may strike you as odd, and has earned him the self-​titled nickname «The Barefoot Optician,» but rest assured that while he isn’t always mainstream, he is one of the most qualified opticians of his age group you are likely to ever meet.
