Lady Bug

I initially called their main line listed for quotes on their website — 480−833−1111 — and spoke to Irene. She was fantastic! Great customer service. But, apparently I called the wrong office. They did not service my area. So, I was given the number to another office and told that she would pass my request and information to Karl, the manager of that location. She said Karl would follow up with me within the hour to schedule the appointment. Karl did not. I called and left a few messages before he called me back to hash out the details.
I just wanted a basic spray down, inside and outside of my home. Nothing toxic. I did not have an infestation or a major problem, but did notice increased insect activity.
The service tech came out early and called beforehand, but his visit felt rushed to me. Yes, it’s hot outside. It’s Arizona during the summertime. I get all that. But, I was hoping to be educated about the whole process a little bit. When I initially set up the appointment I asked for a seasoned exterminator as I had just purchased my first house and wanted someone that could come out and identify any trouble areas and offer suggestions how to resolve them. I believe the guy that came out was named Bobby. He worked quickly and was done in less than 30 minutes. When he left, I didn’t feel like I had a better understanding of what to look out for or how to treat it. We did briefly discuss the fact that I needed some cracks to be sealed and caulked inside and outside the house. He took down my email address and said he would get me a quote or a referral in a few days. It’s been over a week now and I have not heard back.
I didn’t sign a contract, but I did preset another visit next month for an additional exterior spraying. I’m going to make sure I can be there the day they come out so I can pick the technician’s brain a bit.

I decided to go another route for my pest control needs and canceled the visit scheduled for next month.

I’ve been using this company for years, but have recently been dissatisfied with their level of service. The past few times I have had to call multiple times to set up an appointment. They do not return messages, apparently. The last time a technician came out, he was extremely late. I called to ask if he was coming at all, and was advised my appointment had been cancelled. After they looked into it, they realized they cancelled the wrong one and sent out a tech. I had to wait at home almost all day due to this. The past few techs who have been out tracked dirt and leaves all through the house despite my request for them to wear those shoe covers. They walked outside with them on as well as inside, which defeats the purpose. I like that this company uses organic products. But there are other options out there now. I’m going to try another company next time.

I tried to stop into this business, located in the 1600 block of East University Blvd, in Mesa today. Never even got into the store!
Their parking lot is sort of small and, once you get in, if you can get in, you’ve got some maneuvering to do in order to get out. Well, I pulled in and there were several of their company’s service trucks lined up after their day’s work. There were spaces in the very back and very few anywhere else. Trying to squeeze my pickup truck between a partially open iron gate and an open door of one of the service trucks was tough! I had to back up, without much room to maneuver, re-​position my truck and SLOWLY, SLOWLY drive through with spacing so close to the gate that my truck was in danger of getting a bad scrape.
Meanwhile, what did Lady Bug’s semi-​trained dufesses do? Not a damn thing but stand there and watch my struggle to get in to find a parking space so I could talk to someone in the store about a bunch of work I wanted to have quoted price-​wise.
When I finally got the truck situated and stepped out, one of their levi-​wearing chimpanzees walked over to me and rudely advised me that, «only service trucks were allowed to park at the back.» Well, thanks a hell of a lot!
There were no signs other than a «private property» sign that gave no parking instructions whatsoever. Neither did any of these geniuses think to tell me before I tried to get through a very difficult situation that I shouldn’t even try because of parking restrictions that I had no way of knowing about.
The overall lack of interest in customer service, the complete lack of courtesy, and the lousy customer accommodations have convinced me that I’d be better off buying ant-​eaters and barn cats to take care of fire ants and field-​mice. I wouldn’t have these jerks on my property if they were paying me admission prices!
Try them, if you like, but my bet is that they’re going to really have you pi$$ed off by the time they leave your property.

Received a termite inspection today. I knew there were a few tunnels on the foundation. The inspector took his time to thoroughly inspect the inside and outside of the house. He spent time to explain what he found, alternatives for treatment and answered my questions. No pressure to «buy right now» which I appreciate.
