It had been two years since my last teeth cleaning. My previous Dentist found a few cavities, all of which were minor, and quoted me at around $ 1,300 just to take care of the few cavities and to have one amalgam filling taken out and re filled with the clear stuff. The fact he was in North Scottsdale was probably a big reason why it was so expensive. Needles to say, I waited to get on a dental plan before I got them filled.
I found Dr. Williams through my dental insurance (and the fact he was close to me). He was awesome & so was his technician. Even though it had been two years since my last cleaning, the tech was very gentle and I had no pain whatsoever from the cleaning. Dr. Williams was very thorough and extremely nice. The cost to do seven fillings plus the amalgam out was many hundred dollars less than the other Dentist. My insurance covered all of it and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience!

What a fabulous dentist. I had a really awful experience before I went to Dr. James with a half done root canal that became really infected. One day I was eating pizza and the pain came out of nowhere… it got so bad that I couldnt handle it and made an appointment with Dr. Williams office. They got me in the same day and even though I was an hour late still saw me. Dr Williams gave me amoxicillin and hydrocodone for the pain and scheduled me for a root canal a couple of days later.
When I arrived at my appointment he made sure I was fully numbed before starting the root canal. He made sure I was ok the entire time and made everything a really comfortable process. After the root canal was done I felt immense pain and wondered if everything was ok, but took the pain pills and tried to deal with it. He called me 10 minutes later just to check and see if everything was ok and told me I could call his emergency line at anytime if anything came up. The pain ended up subsiding after the infection was fully healed (about 5 days later) and unfortanately I had to see another dentist for the crown… and he did nothing but rave about how good Dr. Williams performed my root canal.
Good experience. Awesome Dentist. Just a little pricey for someone with no insurance.
