I am a fine finish specialist. I have painted all my life but in the valley for over 17 years as Lucero Painting. We now specialize in Venetian plaster application. All types and brands, Behr, Modern masters, Rivesito, Belleze synthetic and Italian lime based plasters. We are International trained and certified applicators. What we do and the way we do it is very unique to the industry. History

Established in 1993.

I grew up as a painting contractors son. I can remember washing oil base brushes for five cents a brush. That was back in the day when we painted with oil based paints! I eventually mastered house painting and quickly moved on to commercial painting, I have supervised and painted huge jobs, some for Nasa, yes that’s right and I supervised and painted the entire painting maintenance on two major military bases. I have also supervised countless commercial painting and asbestos abatement projects. As I grew older and married I moved to Albuquerque N.M. and eventually to Arizona.

I started Lucero Painting during the end of the S & L crisis, we were so successful that my clients continued to grow to larger homes and eventually I ended up with very high-​end clients. Of course this demanded that my design scope needed to grow. Faux, was not really our «specialty», however that is not the case today. I am considered one of the best at Venetian plaster and faux in the industry.
