History

Established in 1967.

Golden Hills Optical was founded in 1967 by C.P. Stewart. Dr. Soesbe has continued the tradition of providing high-​quality family eye care to the East Valley for over 20 years.

Dr. Soesbe at Golden Hills Optical is dedicated to providing his patients the unrushed, high-​quality eye care they deserve to enhance their quality of life.

Meet the Business Owner

Sam S.

Business Owner

Dr. Sam Soesbe received his bachelor of science in biology from UCLA and his doctor of optometry degree in 1989 from Pacific University. Dr. Soesbe worked as an intern doctor at the Portland and Forest Grove Optometry Clinics, the Vancouver Washington VA, and the San Diego California Naval Hospitals. He furthered his education with over 100 hours of classes and certification in Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents in 1993. In 2003 Dr. Soesbe received certification in the fitting of Corneal Refractive Therapy, or CRT, lenses and has been helping patients with this wonderful technology ever since.
