At our Mesa, AZ family dentistry office, Dr. Derrick Dickson believes that continuing knowledge is one of the most important attributes of a dental practice. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education classes on dental implants, Invisalign, and many other aspects of dentistry. He also enjoys educating his patients on the treatment they receive so they can make informed decisions regarding their oral health. Providing knowledge about the dental care they receive helps turn a complicated and confusing process into something simple anyone can understand.
Dr. Dickerson provides and explains a wide array of dental procedures for both children and adults including dental implants, teeth whitening, Invisalign, treatment for gingivitis, and mouth guards for sleep apnea and/or snoring. We know how important it is to find a dentist for your child, which is why we schedule appointments for children as early as age four.
History
Established in 2000.
Dr. Dickerson grew up in California and Utah before attending the University of Utah and Brigham Young University. He graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1997 with honors. He and his wife then moved back to Utah where he practiced with his father in Pleasant Grove for two years prior to moving to Arizona. He then started the office in 2000 and has enjoyed becoming an Arizonan.

Dr. Dickerson opened his family dentistry practice in April, 2000. For over ten years, Derrick Dickerson, DMD has been providing the local community of Mesa, AZ with a wide array of dental procedures. Along with providing the patients of Mesa with excellent dental care, he also does humanitarian dental work with his father in third world countries annually. He and his wife of 15 years and their four children live in Gilbert. He enjoys golf, gardening, family travel and outdoor activities. He currently works with the 16 – 18 year old young men in his neighborhood in their scouting and church activities.
