I have lived at Coral for a while and the maintenance team in the past has done sub par work. But yesterday I had a g9entleman named William come to my apartment and just made me feel welcome and explained to me what was wrong, and he fixeAd it the first time. This was my second time with maintenance to fix my problem, thank you William

Great group of front office staff. The Manager Dee made the whole rental process smooth and easy. Manijeh was always polite, helpful and friendly. Jerome was also extremely helpful. I had a lot of question with this being my first apartment all to myself and they were always there to answer them. The apartment I moved into is flawless. Being a military guy I am no stranger to and inspection and I was surprised that I didn’t find any issues. I am truly impressed with the service I have received thus far. Highly Recommended!!!

I am very disgusted… I live in coral Pointe Apartments and the apartments have been very good for me but we had a bad rain and the water leaked through my roof and onto my 55 inch flat screen TV coral Pointe Apartments came and did what they needed to do they sent out maintenance and they took care of everything right away but the insurance that you have to have did not do anything for my 55 inch TV the coral Pointe Apartments staff has been great to me the address and everything but it’s the dang gone insurance so from now on I’m just going to get my own. Do not get that insurance!
Coral point is a great place to live. but don’t get RLL insurance get your own.

I moved here in july. The outside looked gorgeous with all the grass and pine trees. That’s the main thing that drew me in. Marty was the one that sold us. He was super friendly. Our full first rent was in august. They gave us all kinds of paper work when we signed our lease in july (which is normal) well one of the papers had our actual rent amount that we would be paying the next month. Well august rolls along and we made a money order for the amount that it said on the paper. They told us we was short $ 40. So obviously I was pissed. And on top of that, our a.c. was broken for a whole week mid august. About a week after that, our garbage disposal and sink was broken… they never fixed it. 2 weeks later, I woke up on my day off, walked outside to have my morning cigarette and there was a note on the door saying «office key copy didnt work, go to office asap to get ur key copied» first of all, I NEVER gave them permission to go into my apartment with out me being home (I had an incident at a different complex and my belongings were stolen). I get that I was home, but im a light sleeper, I heard not one knock. This guy could of just walked in while I was sleeping! That being said, I never got my key copied. I fixed my own sink. And just last week, my shower drain was clogged fully. I Fixed that. And now, this morning, it was chilly so I was going to turn my heater on for a couple mins to knock the chill… well my heater started smoking and smelling burnt. Now I have to fix that! I would give this complex a 1 star review, but beings the outside is nice and up kept, and its a quiet complex I give it a 2. But maintenance is not very good. And the office will charge u randomly. Also, no washer and dryers in unit… and the wash rooms r expensive! I was washing my cloths, and then I would put t-​shirts on hangers and hang them on the inside of my patio to dry (u kno to save money) and I got a note on my door that said I cant do that… why? No body can see it unless u actually look over my patio wall. So I was upset about that too…

As a weekly field tech for this property, I usually meet with Manijeh or Theresa. They are both very helpful and efficient with assisting my service needs. I find the property to be very clean and well maintained, therefore keeping issues minimal.

An update to my review:
Well the best thing this office had going for it was Marty, and he quit. Before he left he was the only helpful one who took our situation seriously and listened when we spoke. Honestly if they were able to keep him in this office my review and others probably would have improved.
What situation you ask? Well how about a living room that floods when it rains, in multiple places. All the water is coming from inside the top of the wall. The flooding started on Saturday August 30^th, well at least this time it was so bad it was noticeable. I had noticed small water stains prior and wondered where they were coming from. This time it was flooded feet out from the wall, pooling in the corner under a wood hutch, my couch, and coffee table. Floor to ceiling curtains were soaked. Projects painted on cardboard leaning in the corner were soaked and ruined. I took photos immediately and sent them to Marty personally by email to document my claims (knowing already how unorganized the office is).
I came into my apartment that night to flooding inside my front door, which I soaked up. This flooding reminding me of the spot I found previously in the corner to the right of my living room window. I couldn’t even make it over there before I was standing in a pool of water. I pulled out my hutch and couch and used multiple towels to soak up the water and rang them out outside.
Two days later on Tuesday September 1^st it rained again, worse, and flooded twice as bad. (no one has even come yet to view it originally) This time not only did the living room flood, but the master bedroom on the opposite side of the wall, and the master bathroom from under the bathtub. Lucky for the living room we have vinyl floor which is now lifting from water damage. Unlucky for the master bedroom there is carpet, which was soaked. Again, I emailed with photos to the office. This time it was obvious exactly where the water was coming down the wall because the paint had a water filled bubble about 4 feet long and the drywall was soaked and soft behind the paint. So from here I knew I needed to make the problem more serious to the front office. I stayed home from work to move my whole living room and get everything out of the way for future flooding. Well the office said someone was coming immediately that morning, that was proven to be a lie. I stayed home all day waiting, no one showed. I left for two hours that evening and came back home. The wall had not been touched, there was no note of entry from maintenance. I did notice plastic on my counter, I looked up to find they replaced the broken hanging light two months after it was broken and a work order was put in. It was obvious maintenance had no idea why they were there.
For the past two weeks both my roomate and I have called, emailed, and visited in person trying to get someone to come fix this flooding issue! Our apartment has been musty and damp and our wall has been soaked and GROWING MOLD!!! Yes I said it, the office wouldnt fix the issue but we are living with MOLD!!! Every time we contacted them they acted like they had no idea there was an issue in our apartment. The only person who even acted knowledgable about the issue was Marty. He told us they were planning to fix it and that there has never been a flooding before.
Well ill tell you they finally «fixed» it. No not really fixed, what they did was come in and replace the drywall where I personally ripped a huge hole so I could save and photograph the mold. The bubble in the paint was not fixed, and neither was the top part of the drywall that was also soaked. They only replaced a piece of drywall, not the damp insulation and also cut up the baseboard and just glued it back on. THEY DID NOT FIX THE SOURCE TO THE FLOODING. Which is the upstairs balcony not draining off properly, pooling, then pouring down our wall.
Whats even more funny is how absolutely rude the maintance man was to my roomate. He said they had many other floodings and ours wasn’t as important. REALLY?! My personal belongings are not important? The fact that I havent been able to use my living room isnt IMPORTANT? The fact that we are living with MOLD ISNT IMPORTANT!!! Even more funny is he said they needed to have special contractors come do the work because it was beyond what they can handle. The next morning guess who came to fix it? THE MAINTENANCE MAN! I guess over night he became a license contractor because the day prior it was beyond his scope of work.
We are waiting for more rain to flood us again and ruin our beautifully patched wall. Next time I will be sure to rip a hole in both pieces of drywall so they fix both! The worst part about all this is I like my apartment, and I just wanted it fixed right the first time I asked. Not two weeks later and then not even actually fixing the problem. We have been unable to use our living room for two weeks and have not been offered any compensation or even an apology.

I’ve been a resident since February and initially had some communication issues with the front office which included some repairs but after going to the office and being very clear with them all our repairs were done the day we moved in. Since then I have gotten divorced and moved into a smaller unit. I couldn’t be happier with the unit. I actually like it much better than the two bedroom two bath platinum unit I was in.
Since my transfer to a smaller unit there has been changes with the front office staff. The manager Theresa has been GREAT! She helped make the transition to the new unit very smooth as well as did the new leasing agent Manijeh. Both of them have made it to be an effortless move. Marty is the new Assistant Manager and he is AWESOME! I had received a notice about monies due that turned out to be inaccurate and he took care of it right away for me. Marty is on top of his game and I really appreciate his assistance with the outstanding monies owed.
One of the last times I was in the front office to put in a work request Marty came over to chat with me and even remembered my name which I was impressed with considering I had only met him once.
All I can say is the front office staff has been GREAT!

this place is horrible! please pay attention to this review because i made the biggest mistake and did not listen to the others! they take forever to fix anything you report and you have to report it multiple time before someone even comes down and even when they do finally come down they state they cant fix it and they need to get a licensed tech to fix it and then the license tech never shows! that makes me only assume they never called for a tech so we mention again and nothing! a third time we request and nothing! its obvious this place only wants money and o can not wait until my lease is up! i promise to the lord that i am not lying about this. stay away from coral point apartments its a low end scam i would never recommend anyone here. i’m sorry coral point and i hope to god you see this. you need to get your shit straight or lose your damn license to rent units to people! you do not know how to run a complex!!!

pissed the fuck off tenants that wished we listened to these reviews before we signed a year of this torture.

I lived here for a little over a year. The office staff is awful and tries to find ways to literally steal from you. Before my roommate and I gave notice to vacate we got a notice from the office saying they needed 30 days. So, we waited and when the time came they said no its 60 days. I showed then the flyer and they had nothing to say. They tricked us into paying an extra month. Now, they are billing us for routine things like carpet cleaning although they said we didn’t need to do it. DONT LIVE THERE.

Seriously… don’t live here. You’ll regret it. The company is awful. The on site staff is awful. I’m the kind of person who knows and follows rules set in place, but it doesn’t matter. They found ways to screw me over anyway. The grounds maintenance was always very loud early in the morning. I had a second story apartment, but one morning I had to call 911 because someone ran their car into the apartment right below mine. I listened when the fire department was examining the guy who was driving and they were asking him what apartment he was shooting up in. It just isn’t in a good part of town.

Aside from being in an undesirable part of town, the office staff litigious and completely unwilling to work with residents on anything with a price tag on it. For instance, I was fined for «emergency maintenance service» without this price ever being stipulated in the lease, or informed at the point of sale that this service would cost money. After disputing the claim, the staff called my issue «silly» and told me I would get further fines if I did not pay immediately, without addressing the logic of my claim. Furthermore, the grounds staff come in with their leaf-​blowers and edgers just about every weekday, at 7:30, which is far more frequent than necessary. Do not live here if you work a late shift — you will hate your life.

I lived there for 7 months and couldn’t wait for my lease to end. The front staff is rude, unprofessional, and does not follow through on requests. Every time I needed something done for maintenance it took at least three calls.
My master bedroom flooded within my first week and took another week before someone showed up to look at it. The water heater was also hooked up wrong so the shower got cold water when hot was on and vice versa. There fix was just to rotate the facet and deal with it. My front porch light went out my second month. I told security, from desk, and maintenance and the light was still out when I moved out.
Overall the apartment was liveable but the walls are thin so hope for good neighbors and there is a very noisy train that goes by multiple times a day and in the middle of the night. Just know that staff is useless except for one really nice maintenance worker.

My brother lived here for about nine years. He got married in 2011 and then moved to another state. He was always happy while living there. He loved all the trees at Coral Point Apartments, especially the pines. The grounds were well-​kept, and maintenance requests were taken care of very quickly. The office staff was always friendly. My brother and I both love taking photos, and I took a lot during my many visits over the years. I included some of them to give a good idea of what Coral Point is like. If I should ever need to go back to apartment living, I would make CPA a top choice for where I would go.
