Boot Barn

Went in last week and spoke with very nice young lady about new boots that were painful to wear. She offered that they could stretch them. Went back in and an older gentleman was very rude and condescending, even implying the young lady we spoke to was wrong. Left without leaving boots, won’t ever go back.

I love this location! Tons of choices and options of boots and they will honor competitor coupons. Best selection around and nice people!

Bought my second pair of Ariats here today. Very good selection, after trying on several boots, I settled on a pair and was out the door. Very knowledgeable staff, was down to making a decision between two pairs but settled with the rubber soles.

I have to say this store has a huge selections of boots. They don’t always have all styles in all sizes but it is a little overwhelming on how many you have to choose from. Store was clean and well organized. All boots staged by size and a ton of kids boots too. Salespeople were very friendly and attentive. Anything western wear, you’ll find here.

my family and I drove up about 15 minutes before store closing was met at the front door and denied entry because the store was closing soon. I can understand staff wanting to go home soon but there is no excuse to flat out block someone from coming in the door A simple ‘we’ll be closing soon’ would have sufficed. There were several shoppers still in the store and they all turned to look at the situation. I didn’t even utter a word at the man blocking the entrance for fear of losing my composure. I was not aware I we were headed in to shop close to closing time but now I am sure I will never return. period!

My boyfriend bought a pair of steel toe Docs for work in April, by July they had split completely apart. He brought them in to see if they would exchange them. After a month they really don’t have to do anything. The manager, Chuck? Dave? Names elude me sorry, offered like 50% off another pair of boots. But my guy insisted they make it right. So they did. They exchanged his boots straight across and ate the loss. Fast forward barely two months later the other pair of Docs do the same thing! So we went back in to The Barn and told them what was up. They agreed to exchange them yet again. Clearly there is a defect with the Docs. So he replaced the Docs with a better more expensive brand and only had to pay the difference. Needless to say, they didn’t have to do ANY of this stuff for us. But they did. The people at this store went above and beyond to assist us both times. Because of this excellent experience I highly recommend this place as far as work boots goes. We’re customers for life now and won’t be shopping anywhere else for steel toes. Great job!

Finally decided to embrace my Texan roots and get a pair of stockman boots for some honey-​dos around the house. It’s overwhelming walking through the door and I dragged my wife in with me so I had someone else that stuck out like a sore thumb.
Sam, greeted us at the door and she asked right away what I was looking for. I let her know and she took me straight over and started giving me the run down on fitting a boot and let me try a few on while making sure they all fit as expected (apparently there are three different things you need to identify when trying to size a boot). Sam took more time than I expected to outline what goes into sizing a boot properly and how to keep them looking great. Had my boots in hand and was out and a bout in short order.
I used the boots the next day while cleaning up some thorny tree branches from my backyard. I was tasked with compacting said branches in the back of the truck, and these boots worked great and were insanely comfortable. Wore them all weekend and my feet are not sore and I have no blisters (which I for sure expected). I polished them up with the conditioning formula, as Sam recommended, and then wore them out to San Tan Brewery for some drinks and fun.
Great place, ask for Sam and you won’t be disappointed. :-)

Never will I walk into this place again. Terrible customer service and from girls that have no clue about their products or service. The selection for anyone not a 34 waist or a 7 ¼ head is non existent. Tried to find a straw 7 ¾ and could not find one hat in the whole store. Only on 7 ⁵⁄₈ but not my style. I asked the girl and she just laughed when I told her she needed some inventory for their bigger customers. So I laughed at her and walked out even though my wife had selected two shirts that she wanted to buy.
Cowboys come in all sizes folks! Not here though.

I visited Boot Barn twice in the last week and felt my experiemce was Unilocal review worthy. On my initial visit I purchased a pair of Justin boots, a Carhart jacket, Carhart beanie, and a few packs of socks. Jeff was the associated who assisted me on my first visit and did a phenomenal job to say the least. He greeted me promptly upon entering the store and wasted no time in helping me find a jacket that I liked. While I had no intentions of purchasing any boots, Jeff gave me space to browse their selection without any sort of pressure or sales tactics. I would describe my overall experience as relaxed and enjoyable. Jeff is a great sales associate and exhibited superb customer service skills.
I came in a few days later because I wanted to exchange the boots I bought for a different pair. Aside from noting Jeff’s superior customer service, the entire purpose for composing this review is to give proper credit to Glenn (one of the store managers). Without getting into the details, Glenn displayed an extreme amount of patience in dealing with me throughout the exchange process. I have worked in retail before and lets just say if I were in Glenn’s shoes I would not have been able to maintain the level of composure that he did throughout the entire return process. Let’s just say there was a bit of a «hiccup» with the exchange (the hiccup was my fault) andd I was having a difficult time comprehending something involving a previous discount on the boots. Admittedly, I was being a difficult customer. Despite these facts, Glenn repeatedly explained the stores policies to me in a calm, cool, and collected fashion. He must have explained the situation seven or eight times yet I still was not satisfied with the answer. In the end and despite my being such a pain of a customer, Glen still chose to fulfill my request and go far above and beyond what was required of him and his job duties. Glenn most importantly was respectful to me as a customer; it is clear to me why this gentleman is in a management position. Ultimately, Jeff and Glenn did everything in their power to make my shopping experience at Boot Barn not only enjoyable but rewarding. Additionally, these two gentleman went the extra mile going above and beyond concerning all matters of customer service. I will be returning to the Boot Barn for any of my «country attire» needs in the future and will certainly be recommending this location in particular to my friends and family.

They have shitty customer service to the MAX. Manager and all. Customer service is IMPORTANT and they DONT have it. No wonder they go through staff like shitter paper. I USED to be a loyal customer, but not after being told I am rude, when Its clearly your staff! Ill be going to Scottsdale from now on!

These people are very expensive. Bought a couple pairs of wrangler pants Spent 70 dollars for 2 pairs; now this is my fault cause I didn’t do any research!!! Which means business owners will always take advantage of people with their high prices. When they can. Go to Wal– Mart Found the same pair of pants for 16.00 dollars. That’s right NO SALE, NO COUPON. So you know Wal– Mart is making a profit. Wow really!!! So Saba is making a killing on us.
I bet 200 dollars that Mr. Saba probably doesn’t pay for full triple retail. If so can I sale you a car??? Rip off artist…

They have a great selection of western wear. The sales person was very helpful. The boots are name brands I’m familiar with so I can tell you the prices are reasonable. If you are into western wear, this place is worth a look.

When looking for a specific brand and style of boots I went to the Glendale location and got no help, but the Mesa location had FABULOUS staff. They looked up several styles of the boots to see if they could order them from a different location. Their service will make me definitely come back and make the drive to that location every time.

The guy who works weekdays is great. The weekend staff wasn’t nearly as helpful. Lolly was straight up RUDE, and appeared to be the manager. Another ‘guest’ heard some employees talking about how ‘not busy’ they were but nobody ever offered to even help him. When we were checking out, there was one guy attempting to deal with the line, but he wasn’t fully trained and the line was 5 deep.
I work for a company that requires steel-​toed boots and BB was talking with my husband (a manager) about getting our business. Lolly definitely left a bad taste in my mouth — and all over a $ 5 coupon on my phone.

Been going to Saba’s for years. Ran across a Boot Barn on a camping trip in Colorado and was super impressed with them. When we got home I looked for one here and was surprised to find one within 40 miles of my house. Headed out for the first time today and found their prices to be WELL below the prices at Saba’s. I purchased an MHT hat for $ 39.99 here that sells for $ 79.99 (no, sadly, I am not kidding) at Saba’s. This price was not a sale, it was the same price at the Boot Barn in Durango, they just did not have my size. The man working the counter was quite friendly and knowledgeable. Sadly, for Saba’s, this Boot Barn location has earned my future business.
