Auto A/C Xpress

My A/​C was blowing hot air so I decided to take it into Auto A/​C Xpress due to the great reviews on Unilocal but I was skeptical because most of the reviews were from people who only reviewed this company so they didn’t seem legit. I should’ve trusted my instinct. I called and spoke with Tony and I brought my car in that afternoon. He checked it out and within 10 minutes he had a diagnosis. He said it needed a recharge. I said fine. 20 minutes later, he walks in and says I’m all set. So I asked if it was fixed and he said «it’s blowing cooler now but you’ll probably have to get the compressor fixed and that’s real expensive.» I don’t understand why he just put a bandaid on it if he knew what the real underlying problem was. I explained to him that we were traveling that weekend and we would have our newborn with us so we needed the A/​C to work and he said it was probably fine. That afternoon, I took my car for a drive. Not even 10 minutes later, my A/​C is blowing hot air again. I called Tony twice before speaking with him. I told him it didn’t work and I needed a quote for fixing the compressor. He said he would call me back. Haven’t heard from him. Called twice since then and nothing. Waste of $ 70 that I could have used towards REALLY fixing my car.

Tony was friendly and willing to answer all of my questions. Since I got to his shop while he wasn’t too busy, he had me in and out within half an hour. His prices were great and most importantly the work he did resolved my issue. My A/​C is working great and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

My car was not blowing cold air. Knowing certain mechanics, I did not what to expect from Tony. I was wondering if I was going to get a honest diagnostic or a list of things «wrong» with my car. Not the case here, after doing a check Tony concluded that my car just needed a recharge. It has been over a week and my is blowing cold air. I will take my cars there for my air conditioning repairs. The entire process took 30 minutes tops.

Very friendly over the phone and very knowledgable. I know a couple things about vehicles and I really appreciated that I didn’t try to bully around/​push added expenses. Definitely worth checking out!

I needed my ac fixed, I did some shopping around and got some pretty high quotes saying I needed to replace everything. I called Auto AC Xpress and took my car in to have Tony take a look. He found the problem and said he could fix it for a fraction of what others quoted me. Amazing service and great guy. I’ll refer everyone I know to him.

I was on an emergency trip from CA to AZ and decided to stop by this shop to service my 1998 Civic AC system since the weather in AZ sucks (sorry folks who live there). I found it on Unilocal near to where I stayed and it was on my last day living in AZ so I contacted Tony (the owner of the shop) asking for the same day service. The owner was friendly & really helpful in explaining to me what was really going on with my system without trying to up-​sell me extra craps (I really hate this).
The service was fast and the guy did a good job on it. My car is blowing out cold air right now even though it is not that hot any more. I would recommend this service to ones who live near by or have a chance to stop by that area.
