Argenta

If this helps anyone it will be worth it to me. I was going to move in to these apartments and they changed the apartment unit 2 days before i was suppose to move in and said they would pro rate it and save me money. So i thought what nice people. How wrong I was they told me to pick up keys at end of the next day so i showed up and got the key. Argenta management said we left a light on for you in the apartment unit. I went up there and a chemical smell was so bad i could not even breath. So they had the office locked up. So the next day I tried to tell them that I could not even breath in the unit. And they said you have a lease and it will cost you alot of money to get out of the lease. And i will have to turn in a credit report at the end of the month. So Im out a months rent a deposit and they are threatening to ruin my credit if i dont pay a lot of money to break the lease. Not only did the place smell like chemicals but the toilet was backed up and the washing machine would not drain the water without all kind of filth in the bottom of the washer. So I could do 9 months of a nightmare there or pay alot of money to get out of the lease or be in court for up to 6 years and might lose my credit and pay for 9 months. I chose to just run for my life and pay what they was asking to get out of the lease. That’s how bad this place is. I never lived in the apartment unit it was uninhabitable. So please don’t go there or even consider this place it is the absolute worst I ever dealt with. Don’t give these people at Argenta a chance to rip you off and put you in a place where you get bad and worse choices. It is so sad and wrong when management at the apartments have so little regard for it’s residents and will scam you for money or ruin your credit.

My wife’s car was keyed «f#*@? Me. This place is so ghetto. Potheads & trashy people. Stay away if you have any class. Maintenance sucks! Right next to trailor park. Illegals upstairs kids run & jump all day. Wrote formal complaint & it only got worse. Very low class environment! Car has new dents frequently.

This place is ran by scam artists! Sister in law broke her lease there a year and a half ago because of the horrible management. Went to rent a new place and application was denied because they have a fictional eviction notice in their system. Never sent a summons or anything. They are now demanding money to take the fictional eviction off her file. The office staff are lazy liars. Called about the problem and they said they were working on it, had a feeling they weren’t drove down there (20 minutes before close) and the fat lazy DIVA male was stuffing his face with food disgustingly. He ignored us after we told him we were the people he had just spoken to. Once he felt like helping he wouldn’t listen and spoke over us. Never gave back the deposit or gave and itemized list as to why it wasn’t given back. They already have 3 BBB claims over this. This will shortly have 4. If they do not remove the fictional eviction and give back the deposit we WILL be taking them to COURT!!! Unless you want your credit, life, and what not ruined DO NOT RENT FROM ARGENTA!

Avoid this complex at all cost… Or they will cost you all! The management is hands down the worst. And the maintenance is very slow to fix any repairs and are rude. Randomly management will find a reason to tack on fines. They charged me a small fortune to fix a door lock. Avoid this place!!! And look at the next, any place is better than this one.

I would never recommend anyone moving into Argenta Apartments. The housing and staff are less than acceptable.
For example:
In the winter time, there isn’t much hot water to go around the entire complex; so you must let your water run for 10 – 30 minutes to even get room temperature or luke warm water. They don’t do anything to fix it so you are left with a much higher water bill than you were expecting. Don’t ask the staff about it because they will tell you that the «pipes» need to get primed and warm and that’s why the water is cold… I’ve tried to take showers at 5 or 6 pm.
They have a large number of turn over on maintenance people so your work orders, if they get filled out, won’t be completed easily within a week.
There are bugs such as (fly/​moth type insects in the summer time and recently I’ve had ants scurrying across my kitchen counter even after I’ve cleaned all the counter tops and dishes.
About 90% of the residents that have dogs do not pick up their dogs feces. So that’s a fun surprise when walking through the grass. The leasing office does nothing about this to stop it.
One time in the summer time some resident defaced the pool so they shut it down after it was fixed/​cleaned to punish the rest of the community that had nothing to do with it.
A majority of the residents are trashy. I fear my apt, car or motorcycle will be broken into, stolen, damaged or anything else you can think of.
The leasing office likes to close earlier than they list. I’ve had several packages delivered to there and not able to pick them up to the next day cause they decided to leave 30 minutes early… That happened 2 days in a row.
The parking lots have beer cans and soda bottles constantly. Overall, it makes the entire complex look trashy.
The water and the power will be shut off without notice regularly. I’ve come home to blinking alarm clocks more times than someone should.
In closing, I would not recommend renting here. You don’t even get what you pay for. The second my lease is up I’ll move somewhere else because their rates aren’t that competitive and you can most likely rent somewhere else that’s slightly higher and get a much better experience.
