Apache Motorcycles Mesa

My son is in Mesa for school and had a problem with his bike. He is still developing his mechanical ability, so we called around and found a shop close to him that had pretty good reviews and seemed to be straight up after discussing the problem with them. Left bike at this other shop so they could do a diagnostic. After several days at the other shop they did nothing to diagnose much less fix the problem, but they did charge for a «diagnostic» to try and sell new tires, chain, sprocket etc. Long story short, not a good experience at the 1^st place he went to.
We then contacted the guys at Apache. These guys a very knowledgeable and helpful. Without having to take the bike in, not only did they give him some DIY fixes to try, they spent time walking him through the process. Turned out to be a relatively easy fix and bike runs great again. Would highly recommend the guys in Apache’s service department.

They were very fast with the paperwork, not pushy, gigantic selection.

and answered all my questions with ease.

I’ve been going to this place since 2009. Never had a problem with staff bugging me or not knowing what they’re talking about. I’ve even had them work on an old quad I had. They told me when would be best to bring it in to get it out next day. They have plenty of parts on the shelf like oil /​filters/​handle bars. I’ll continue to buy from these guys when I’m on their side of town. Otherwise I will go to the Apache cycle close to work in Phoenix

Excellent and professional business every time i come in. The guys are all smart an get you exactly what need as soon as they can. Tyler in parts has pulled through on some things for me numerous times now. I bought my Can Am Maverick from them and i get it serviced there as well! Nothings but good things about this place!

Guy was super rude on phone and told me good luck finding a bike at go ride. Haha loser.

Brought my new motorcycle back for break-​in period service at 600 miles. It took 2hrs 10 minutes to complete. I waited there to ride it back home. They have a sofa in a corner of the sales floor for people waiting on service. That service cost me about $ 180.
I made my appointment by phone a week in advance, showed-​up ten minutes early, scheduled it for opening time then hiked around the mall next door while the work was completed.
All in all, a no-​hassle experience.
There are vending machines and bathrooms near the service end of the building. The service manager was very professional.

My experience with Tyler was phenomenal. He took the time to make sure my family was provided the best information to select appropriate helmets. Tyler was extremely professional and gave the impression he cared for my families needs. I would definitely recommend Tyler as a sales person for any safety equipment you may need. I will return to this business in the future because of my experience with Tyler and his staff.

I needed parts ASAP! Called Tyler and he found everything I needed instantly and had them ready to ship. I ended up canceling the order because I found them in town (Tucson), but he was still very friendly when doing so. Customer service was awesome. Keep up the good work, you will be hearing from me again.

Beware of Apache’s unscrupulous sales tactics.
I went to Apache to look at trading in my Victory Vision and purchasing a Can Am Spyder. Due to physical problems, I’m needing to go to three wheels. I wandered around by myself for about 5 minutes without anyone offering assistance, and finally tracked down a salesman. He turned out to be the rudest, most uninformed, indifferent salesman I have ever encountered. As I was asking him questions about the product, he contunually tried to turn and run away, as if I was keeping him from something more important than talking to a customer. When I wasn’t looking, he disappeared into a cubicle. I walked out of the store in frustration. I later learned that his name is Shane, but he should change it to Shame.
I was later called by another salesman named Jesse who was following up on the online inquiry I had made on the Can Am website. I told him of my experience, for which he apologized and assured me that he would make sure I was treated properly. I gave Apache another shot at my business, and went to see Jesse. Jesse was very polite, very friendly, knowledgable about the product, and eager to make things right for me. Jesse is the reason I gave this dealership two stars instead of one. Unfortunately, Jesse is a rookie salesperson and it appears that he has been trained to treat every customer like an idiot.
After selecting the model that I wanted off the floor, it was time to find out how much I could get for my trade in, how much they were willing to sell the Spyder for, and how much it would cost «Out the Door». Jesse disappeared into his manager’s office, and after several minutes came out with a sheet of paper in his hand. He took me to a desk and flashed the paper in front of me. The paper was filled with undecipherable notes and numbers, except for the very bottom, which he pointed to. It was the out the door price. I asked if I could look at the paper, and he just waved it around, telling me that it’s not important. I said yes, it is important, and asked if I could have a copy of it. He said he wasn’t allowed to give it to me, but instead wrote the out the door price on the back of his business card.
I asked if I could talk to the Manager, and was taken to the cubicle where the manager was seated. I began talking to the man about such things as FICO scores and the different models, and how much the FICO 8 model differed from the FICO Auto 2 etc. He just sat there with a glazed look on his face. I asked him a question, and he was completely clueless. You would think that a sales manager who deals with credit applications all day long, would at least have elementary knowledge of credit matters. This guy was a complete baffoon. It seems that all these people know is how to try to pull wool over customers eyes and sell them whatever they can sell for however much money they can out of them. Apparently, they aren’t used to dealing with sophisticated, knowledgeable buyers.
I began contacting Can Am dealers in neighboring states, requesting quotes on the model I was looking for. I received phone calls and emails from half a dozen dealers, eager for my business, and perfectly willing to provide me with a breakdown of price, trade-​in allowance, tax, document fees, etc. Each one had a bottom line price much lower than what Jesse and his Manager had quoted to me.
Again, I wanted to give Jesse a chance at the sale, so I called him and asked him to please give me a break down of how they had arrived at their out the door price. He told me that it was against Apache’s policy to provide that information to the customers. I said thank you, and terminated the call with a very bad taste in my mouth.
I did end up purchasing my Can Am Spyder RT Special Series from another dealer. I got a great deal, and they were very up front right from the start as far as how much I was paying, how much tax, trade-​in value, etc. It’s a shame that a guy like Jesse is representing such a sleazy outfit as Apache. I would have loved to give the sale to Jesse, but not to Apache.

We bought brand new sea doo spark 9 months ago.7k cash. Took it in for a warranty issue in 4 months later in October kept getting told were working on it and couple weeks would go by and nothing would be resolved. Just told we’re at seadoo’s mercy they email us and we try it but hard to get parts cause of snow storms and sea doo is out of country??? (Howver when they were selling me this jet ski NO ONE BROUGHT THIS UP) Finally I started making a case myself with sea doo directly… one week later issue fixed. But after four months of our ski sitting outside and shuffled around during the winter we got it back. Scratched and dinged up tool marks on it. Looking like a old beater ski. This dealership was asked to keep my cover on the ski multiple times it took me stopping by 3 times and REMINDING THEM i gave them the cover for a reason use it… but when we picked it up they just covered it and set it on my trailer and said okay thanks have a good one. However upon us strapping it down my wife noticed the had left the plug completely out. And there were stains on the. white seats. And there were grease marks and dirty hand prints everywhere. Just a let down. My wife was in tears. She treats her ski like it’s her kid.. They treated it like it was a four month burden they were so happy to be rid of. Did nothing about it. Dea doo offered to replace seat under warranty and extend my factory 1 year… this dealership hasn’t even offered any apology. Let alone to detail out or ski. Sad part is we just bought a brand new kawasaki stx 15f somewhere else. They lost out on a waverunner sale… cask.10k..

Service Department is Efficient, Friendly and Sharp, all that always at the right Price!!!

Walked in, looked around for 10mim and no one acknowledged me even though there were plenty of employees standing around. If I wanted to be ignored I would’ve gone to ridenow. I guess I’ll just go buy an atv somewhere else.

The parts guys are super friendly, if you every need a part ask for Tylar, he’s the best!

Love Apache. Tylar in parts will always go above and beyond to help out his customers, and save them money. I recommend asking for his help if you ever call in. Everything is priced fair, showroom is clean, and the mechanics are honest. Not much more you can ask for.

I am very pleased with Apache motorcycles in Mesa. Shane and the guys went out of their way to get me the deal I wanted. They were very helpful after the sale when I needed to switch some of the things I bought to go with my new scooter. After a bad experience with a different dealer, I was very happy with the low pressure and the great service at Apache. They were able to give me a lot of good advice too. I recommend them highly!

Have no clue what type of three ring circus the service shop is trying to pull off. Had my 2006 GSXR 1000 In for a simple Valve adjustment was quoted over the phone $ 330 get there first thing they have me do is buy 90 bucks in parts. Told me I had to bring my bike in cold so they could do the adjustment. So i loaded it up in my truck the night before drove it there and dropped it off. Day later I get a call bike is done but they tried starting it and it wouldn’t idle/​run and was pouring out black smoke, not exactly what you want to hear after you drop off your perfectly running bike. They asked if they could look into the problem more I said yes so they disconnected my power commander and found out that was the cause of the problem. $ 325 Being hard to believe seeing how its less than a year old and was working just fine the day before. When I went into the shop to pick up the bike they said they would hook back up the power commander and show me the problem. They started it up for me and long behold it was running just fine just like before. So I have no clue what were they trying to do if they were trying to scam me into buying a new power commander and also charging me for them to look or a problem that never was their. I have a feeling they hooked something up wrong the first time and correctly the second but do you think they would knock off some money off my $ 550 dollar bill nope this shop was very unprofessional and I would advise you to stay away from this shop. Lesson learned. Also when I brought my bike back home I noticed an air box screw stripped as well as the case cover bolt. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going some where else for service.

I own three motorcycles. I bought the last one at Apache and was totally delighted with the price, service, delivery, etc. this dealer gave me. I would definitely recommend them along with Go AZ in Scottsdale. I suggest staying away from Ride Now and Victory BMW — they add on setup fees, license plate/​registration fees, freight, etc. until a 10K bike becomes a 14K bike. Apache and Go AZ do not use this deceptive practice from everything I have seen.

The atmosphere is so much more relaxed and the employees are even cooler than some people over at Ride Now Sports. You don’t have people hounding you every two seconds and trying to convince you to buy something right now.
We got our bike serviced here and they did a great job, they definitely went above and beyond. They were timely, decently priced and made us feel extremely welcomed. We’ll definitely be coming back here for any of our motorcycle needs.

Caution when buying a used bike from these guys.
I realized that buying a used bike would cost me more than if I bought it directly from a person directly. I believed the trade off would be that the dealer would have thoroughly gone through the bike before putting it for sale (Oh so I should not need a second opinion from soemone else).
I tried to test drive the bike before purchasing it, but the solid answer was no. Under no circumstances do they let you test drive (OK I get the insurance issue, even though I have my own). So I couldn’t get a second opinion if I wanted to.
I bought the bike anyways, as it was the one I had been looking for (2006 VFR800). On my ride home the bike felt and sounded odd, but I had previously owned a cruiser, so maybe they are suppose to sound and feel like this and I just needed to get use to it. I rode it the next day and it just didn’t seen right so I called the Apache dealer in Phoenix (I live in Phoenix not Mesa) and asked if they would just ride it around the block and tell me if the bike was running as it should. They got me in the next day (2 days after purchase) and guess what the chain drive needed to be replaced. That was the cause of the odd feel and sound. Instead of them working with the Mesa store, I had to call the Mesa store and work with the sale guy to let him know of the issue and ask what he was going to do. We talked, he called the Phoenix store to verify and asked if I wanted to bring it to Mesa or Phoenix to replace the chain drive (free of charge). I scheduled it for the Phoenix dealer. While they replaced the chain I also asked that they look over the entire bike as I was going on a 1500 mile trip with the new bike in 2 days. They did and said nothing else was wrong.
Wow, replacing the chain drive made a world of difference.
Later that day I was talking with some biker friends and they asked if they changed the sprocket too. I said no, why. They explained that typically the sprocket is always changed at the same time. the chain is replaced. So now I am nervious again, I take it to another mechanic and have them do a once over to see if It needed anything. Guess what… it did. Some how both dealerships missed the fact that there was too much oil. Not a little over but alot about a cup (He showed me). So I had him drain it to an acceptable level. Also the clutch fluid needed to be changed. He said I could hold off until after my trip.
Ok so I bought a used bike from a dealer who abviously doesn’t /​didn’t do a full inspection before selling it and I had to spend my time and money to correct things they should have done or told me about.
I can’t speak to the new bikes, but if you buy a used bike from these guys plan on spending more money to have it inspected again as they don’t do a thorough job.

As far as recreational motor vehicle dealers this place is pretty nice. It has a great selection of motorcycles, ATVs, jet skis, trikes, and other motor vehicles.
Their used selection was limited to a little over a dozen models, only three sport motorcycles that I was interested in. Their selection of new is much better. Though there was not much a a choice in Honda Sports bikes, they made up for it in Suzuki and Yamaha bikes.
As with most businesses nowadays, they were short staffed on the sales floor and it took them nearly an hour of me walking back and forth and in and out from the new to the used selections to even ask if they could help.
Granted, I am currently only in the browsing phase of looking at bikes, but I could have used some guidance on trying to make a decision.
The layout of the store is a touch cluttered to actually get to the model you are looking at, but it was navigable to a browser like me.
They have a good selection of riding gear, i.e. jackets, helmets, bike parts and bags, but I have seen larger selections at smaller stores in smaller towns.
It seems like a great place to purchase a recreational motor craft, but you might have to walk in waving your money or wallet to get the attention you deserve as a customer.
