I wish I would have done some more research into other companies instead of just going with this company. I participated in the SRP Utility Residential Rebate program, which list’s dozens of companies that do the upgrades in your home. Do your research and call the company before you choose one, I wish I had.
It was all swell until Kirsten started getting involved. I had the ducts sealed, which turned out to be done in a very sloppy manner. I cleaned up afterwards because of how sloppy the masking was applied. Kirsten sealed the air handler which was not sealed correctly because air from the garage still came into my home. I also had some insulation sprayed into my attic space. That turned out fine, I really did not notice a change in my utility bill after all the work was done. A major thing that came up was that the return plenum was not sealed at all so at all times that the A/​C was one it was pulling air from every direction possible. They said they could do the work and that it would be extra, that was fine I agreed to the work be done. The thing that really bothered me was Kirsten’s attitude and her tone towards me. The total final price for everything fluctuated, it was a lot of back and forth, some days I would not hear back from them, it was frustrating and aggravating. The plenum was finished by a very nice man which was very helpful and nice. In the end I received the final price for all the work done, Kirsten’s tone also sounded annoyed at times and frustrated as well, I can understand since this took a very long time to come to the conclusion. I ended up getting laid off and of course these personal matters do not matter to the company. I had to go to the bank and have my partner qualify to be financed. It has been a real struggle for us and that is something that AE3Q does not understand. I would not recommend people using this company for your home upgrades. If possible do the work yourself and save yourself all the hassle and trouble of dealing with unprofessional people.

AE3Q was recommended to me by my lender for an Energy Audit. It was mostly completed in 2012.
This was a big project. AE3Q provided multiple reasonable quotes in the beginning. The AC bid was for a brand name I did not know so I choose another bid after giving them ample time to provide me with a better product. But I received no followup bid.
I decided to have all windows covered with 90% sun screens so I requested an updated quote. I suggested they stop by the house for additional measurements. They stopped by but no measurements were taken. The updated quote was over $ 1,000 higher than other bids I received. I requested additional information as to why and got no response. So I chose another vendor for that task. The work was completed before the thermal scans mentioned below.
AE3Q continued to demand payment for the Energy Audit even though THEIR records showed I had already paid. I had to provide copy of my bank statement! The thermal scans were not performed until July — Aug 2013 time frame AFTER I proved I had already paid.
No other energy related work has been contracted as of the date this review is being written.
AE3Q stated they would give me updated quotes for insulation and duct work. But after the thermal scan… no return emails, text messages etc.
I am now looking for a vendor that will communicate.

Thank you AE3Q, You have saved me hundreds on heating and cooling bills. I couldn’t be happier with your professionalism and results. You did all that was required and more. I especially liked the helpful tips from the technicians.
