We provide a full range of services for all vehicle makes and models, including general maintenance, troubleshooting, check engine light, engine and transmission repairs, brakes, electrical work, heating and cooling, power steering and much more. Feel free to wait for your vehicle in our comfortable lounge area, or opt for a loaner car to get you on your way. We also offer a concierge car service that will pick you up and drop you off at your home or office. As a NAPA AutoCare Center, we adhere to a very strict code of ethics and work hard to earn your trust.

Business Owner

As Owner of Accurate Automotive, Lee goes out of his way to make your experience with the shop a great one. An ASE-​Certified Master Technician himself, he previously worked at an auto dealership and saw firsthand that customers weren’t getting the level of service they deserved. He realized that the confusion between what customers actually wanted and what the service advisor was offering would dishearten them and discourage them from properly maintaining their vehicle. Lee understands the importance of taking care of your car, and works hard to make the maintenance process as simple and hassle-​free as possible at Accurate Automotive. In 2009, Lee was named the NAPA/​ASE Technician of the Year for Arizona for exemplifying the peak level of excellence and achievement in the industry. Lee and the rest of the Accurate Automotive team believe in building strong relationships with their customers, and treat everyone who comes to the shop like family.

Better than the Dealer.
This is not the first time I’ve used Accurate Automotive but thought I would finally write a review. Over the years I have had Lee and Eric replace a transmission in a Honda civic, Steering column on a Ford Ranger and now a timing belt, water pump ect. On My Toyota Sequoia. With each visit they have exceeded my expectations. I don’t use them because they are «cheap». They are not. I use them because I know that they will be honest and do what they say they will do. I highly recommend using Accurate Automotive.

Lee, Kelli, and their spectacular team go above and beyond to offer the highest level of customer service you can imagine. Beyond that, they are skilled, fair, honest, and exercise the highest level of integrity when working with their clients. Every time you go into their shop, you immediately feel like family. Love these guys! I badly needed a brake job after a misdiagnosis by my previous mechanic left me suddenly with metal-​on-​metal grinding noises every time I came to a stop. Just moved into the Downtown Mesa area so I was definitely in the market for a new mechanic. So glad I came across Accurate Automotive here in Unilocal… they are awesome. Fixed my brakes, changed my oil and gave my car a thorough inspection so there are no more surprises. Great staff — thanks, Josh, Kelly and Lee for taking great care of my little car :)

To be honest, I think Lee and Kelly run a top notch excellent auto repair shop. I truly miss their service and their presence from me moving to Utah. I hope and expect to find the service of an automotive shop up here in Utah. They are very honest and truly appreciate their help to me with my car! I miss them and if I run into anyone who lives in the Phoenix area I recommend sending them to Accurate Automotive!

I’m giving them a one star because at least they got my car fixed. I would highly advise not bringing your car here. They triple charged for the price of the part they had to replace in my gf’s car. The car is not even worth that much. They didn’t tell her exactly what they were doing and they didn’t tell her how much it was going to cost. They also threatened not to give her car back. Very poor way to conduct business. Also, after reviewing the receipt I noticed it was stuff that wasn’t even needed for the car because it was JUST done elsewhere. Crooked Automotive.

Update:
the owner called me as I was on my way out of town to apologize. He said he directed an employee to put the advertising frame on another car, not mine. They pulled my original frame from the trash and gave it back (to a family member who had to pick it up for me). Funny though — he did nothing — said nothing — to try and earn my business back — the conversation was about him and his «mistake» not my business and making me happy as a customer.
I found his «excuse» difficult to believe… and his lack customer focus astonishing.
Less than 30 minutes later my «engine repair» light came on. These folks knew I was prepping my car for an out of town trip when I brought it in. Pathetic. I stopped the car, re-​set the oil light and silently thanked Lee for confirming my initial impression.

I thought I’d give this place a try since it was close to work and appeared to have a steady amount of client traffic. Bought a Groupon, easy to make an appointment, and Josh at the front desk was very professional and thorough in explaining what services would be performed — oil change, tire rotation and air check, fluids, etc.
After the two or so hours as I was notified it would take, they signed me up for their discount card, thanked me for my business and I left feeling relatively good about the place.
It wasn’t until about 24-​hours later — because I approached my car from the rear rather than the front — that I discovered my shiny chrome license plate frame (which matched my wheels) had been removed from my car (stolen) and replaced with a cheap black plastic frame that advertised Accurate Automotive with their phone number in white letters. I immediately called the business and left them a message that I was angry — very angry — at the fact they had taken my chrome license plate frame and replaced it with their advertising without my knowledge. That’s theft in my book.
What else did they do and not tell me? or even ASK me? How can I trust a place that takes my personal property and replaces it with their blatant advertising? Or does who knows what and doesn’t tell me? All that talk about 3,000 miles vs. 5,000 miles for an oil change, tire wear, etc. and not one mention about how my chrome license plate frame had been taken (stolen) and replaced with their advertising.
They had a new customer and they now have a ticked off person who wants their license plate frame back and doesn’t want anything to do with them. They ripped me off and used me. I’m bracing for the next surprise they’ve set me up for… whatever it might be.
