A Day In Paradise Dog Grooming

This place was awesome! I called last minute and they took me right in, then I told them my timeline and they got my Lab all groomed up and pretty within the limits I gave and didn’t have to cut any corners to accomplish it! Made my first experience with them completely worth it! Take your dog here and you won’t be disappointed!!!

I’m really impressed with this place! I worried about bringing one of my goldendoodles in due to his anxiety. They were so great and patient with him. The lady I spoke to happily answered all my questions and made a point to make sure both my guys were comfortable. When I picked them up they looked great and smelled even better! I will be using this place over and over!

Took my two dogs in-​a mini poodle and a chihuahua/​poodle mix-​and they were incredibly patient with my wild 9 month chi-​poo. They both came out looking great and refreshed from all that hair they had. Not to mention they were very helpful and had some great suggestions! Definitely coming back!

We’ve brought our dogs here a few times now and want to make it a regular thing for them. The staff treat our dogs with care and patience, and we have never had any issues with them. Their hours are perfect and in a nice central location (for Mesa). Our dogs come out of there well-​groomed and pampered. Its affordable too!

They do a great job on my ShiTzu and poodle mix. My boys can be a handful and the staff takes good care of them. The groomers are very good in styling my dogs to my preferences. The staff is always friendly and take very good care of their customers. I look forward to see what bandanas they are wearing when I pick them up.

We love taking our furry friend here! The staff is always very polite and treat him like one of there own! Every time he starts shedding or gets a little dirty they clean him right up and take care of him!

**UPDATE** No one from this business has contacted me in regards to my review. They must not care what people have to say. Every time I try to attempt to brush my dog he runs away from me now. Before his visit here he had no issues whatsoever. I can only imagine what they did to him while he was there. Never again will he go here. Save your money and protect your dogs wellbeing and stay far far away from here.
I hate to have to do this because it seems like everyone loves this place, but I did not have a good experience. My dog was there for about 3.5 hours on a Saturday. I dropped him off at 11 and picked him up at about 2:30. I thought everything was great until I got him home. I noticed that I could see the clipper blade marks on his back and a line where they missed his hair. It also looks like they never even touched his paws with a scissors.
I ended up having to cut the hair from between his pads because it was so long. His belly also was shaved but has a ton of hair that was missed. You can also see the blade marks on his nose. I really wanted to like this place, but it looks like my dog was just rushed over. I also noticed he has some nicks as well. I’ve attached photos so that you can see. I’m not usually one to complain, but I think people should know about my experience.

I have been taking my dogs, Max and Houdini to A Day in Paradise for years and was super happy with the service until today’s visit. Extra charges for tick/​flea bath and received NO phone call to let me know they found ticks. My dogs have never had ticks or even fleas before so don’t know how they got them? Found out management changed in November and not happy with the services today at all. I may give them a second chance because I had always had good service previously. I’ll post an update if I do give them the second chance.

I’ve been meaning to do this for some time now! My four dogs love going here! They march right in, go through the gate and jump right into their crate! The girls do a great job and if your not happy with some thing or want it shorter they take care of it with a smile on their face. Carrie the Manager is awesome! One of my dogs recently moved and got knick with the clippers — not only did I receive a discount off the service she followed up several times to make sure everything was healing okay. I appreciated this very much! Communication is key to getting great service and it is a two way street for not only the groomer but, the dog owner too! My dogs have been going here for almost three years now! GREAT JOB!

I took my 2-​year-​old Yorkie here for the first time a few months ago and they did such a great job with her. The pricing was great for all the services she had done and they even gave her a free bandana! I will definitely be going back here again!

From my first call, I knew I would love them. The staff is friendly and the environment is clean. My dog Bella always looks amazing when we pick her up.

This is not my first time coming here — and won’t be my last. I have two little ones, whom I bring here every time they need a grooming. They always smell like they’ve been dipped in rose water — and look so cute with their bows every time. The staff is exceptional, and keep you updated if something is going on. They have never been later than the time they said they would be ready, but they do always call and I can always get an appointment on the day I want. (I usually call a few days beforehand)
I am a repeat customer for awhile, and will continue to keep coming here — as they do a phenomenal job!

I took Chance to get groomed today and can not express my gratitude for the service and gentle care he was given. Chance is a rescue dog & has severe separation anxiety. The staff there were so welcoming and patient. He looks fabulous & not to mention the price was SOOO affordable, I couldn’t believe it. I will definitely be returning.

Took my two dogs to this groomer. Great service & extremely friendly. They try their best to make your pets feel comfortable & happy. It truly shows. Happy to have found a close to home groomer!

I took Ollie, my Norwich Terrier, in for his first groom yesterday. This was the first time I had left him with someone else since I adopted him from the rescue shelter, and he wasn’t the only one who was nervous. The staff not only did a great job with the nail clipping and the hair trimming, they put both Ollie and myself at ease with their friendly and caring demeanor. I have never seen Ollie warm up to anyone as fast as he did with the friendly woman at the counter, and anyone who can win over my dog has won me over as well. This place is a gem for all dog owners in the area, and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for groomers who do a great job and can make even the most skittish dogs feel at home.

I took my German Shepherd here for the first time this morning and to say I’m happy with the service is a complete understatement!
As soon as I was walked in I was greeted by a nice woman who explained everything to me. She answered my questions and was extremely pleasant.
I got a call about 3 hours after I dropped him off (they told me to give them about a 3 – 4 hour window, so him being done earlier than expected was nice) and I picked him up immediately. I got there and he was extremely happy, which when I used to pick him up from Petsmart he never was. In fact all of the dogs in there seemed happy and well taken care of.
They did a fantastic job brushing him, he walked in there shedding like crazy and walked out so much better! They even took care of his nails, which he really hates getting done.
Overall everyone was extremely friendly and the prices and service were amazing. I’ll absolutely be back!

I drive clear across Mesa to bring my two barkie pals to get groomed… and it’s work it! As the owner of two very hairy Shelties, Joker and Herman. I need as much help as I can get and on a budget. I last brought my boys in and they were a dirty mess. I chose the shedless grooming package for both and a dremel nail filing for Joker (aka the «dragon lady» due to the crazy length of his nails) when I returned they were beautiful, clean and seriously as furless as possible. Joker’s nails were amazingly short (no clicking on the tile) which is great as he hates when I «pedipaw» them. I’ll continue to bring my boys to Paradise!

Omg can I just start off by saying that I was very pleased with my experience here. I just moved from Cali with my two small dogs who haven’t been groomed in months. I was actually referred here by a coworker at my new job. He said that they were inexpensive and always do a Great job on his dogs. They were very nice and friendly and they definitely took Great care of my babies. Especially on my havanese dog who had so many knots. They did a groom, deep conditioned, nail clip, anal glands etc for a very reasonable price. They even give female dogs a bow/​hair ribbon and male dogs a bandana once they’re done with the grooming process. super cute. I would definitely recommend them to others and you bet ill be coming back in the nearby future:) thank you for your service! Keep up the Great work!

Been coming here since about 1994. Have watched them move .grow and change owners. The quality of service has not changed. Always great service. super reasonable. Never had any issues and the staff is great!

Excellent groomers! They did such a great job with my maltese shihtzu puppy. They were super caring and friendly and listened to my concerns while executing flawlessly. I will definitely come back!
