A-Live & Healthy Cafe

The food is vibrant, fresh and delicious, the atmosphere is welcoming, artsy and comfortable and the staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. This is a great place for experienced and new-​comers to the raw, vegan and vegetarian lifestyle. The café is easy to find and has plenty of parking. I am already looking forward to my next meal at A-​Live & Healthy :-)

Really happy to see a place like this in Merritt Island. The pumpkin pie is awesome. I ordered a sandwich there with the bread that looked like tree bark and it was pretty good. My salad didn’t come with dressing and I thought that’s how I was supposed to eat. But eventually I gave in and went up to the counter to get some dressing. This place is cool.

I had no idea that raw food could taste so good. Try the sampler platter if it’s your first time so you can taste a variety. Loved everything I ate. The pizza especially.

Delicious, fast, clean, friendly, yummy, healthy and filling! Free dried fruit snack they started us with was also delicious! Chocolate smoothie was delicious! Staff was super, super friendly locals who, when asked, helped us locate people and places we were looking for. I had a Ruben-​like sandwich made with avocado, veggies, and all sorts of yummies. I’m not a vegan, and wondered if this is the sort of place where leather shoes would be banned — nope, focus is all vegan, but as delicious food, not a religion-​like obsession. The slaw I had as a side serving, came with my sandwich, was delicious! I will definitely eat here again! It’s right next to Home Depot on Merritt Island, very convenient for my shopping trip today. Service was quick, hours I saw on menu are lunch only, which is a good combination in my opinion — I’m always most hurried at lunch, and this place fit perfectly! Great for non-​Vegans (me), but I would imagine, if you’re Vegan, this is a MUST VISIT for you.

A-​mazing! I had the sample platter and loved everything, especially the Reuben a-​live. I tried and bought the kale chips and pepitas! In fact I couldn’t stop eating the kale, finished the entire container in a day. Delicious.

We tried the sampler platter and it was incredibly tasty. collard leaf filled with Luna sea pâté, Ruben a-​live, romaine leaf with walnut onion pâté & salads. They were happy to substitute and make suggestions. The owner visited our table to ensure our satisfaction. Nice heathy stop for lunch. Honored to be the first review.
